PEOPLE WHO ARE PROPHETICALLY CONFUSED

by Alan Yusko

All people who reject the rapture fail to understand God's prophetic plan for Israel and for the Church. They are not the same. Even though the plan of salvation is the same (through the Lord Jesus), God has a prophetic plan for the literal seed of Israel and He has a plan for the Church. God gave eternal and unbreakable promises to Abraham's physical seed. We are seeing God fulfilling them in the nation of Israel today. God said that Israel would be removed from their land because of sin and they would be restored. The final restoration began in 1948 when Israel became a nation. Since then Israel has been a nation of miracles and the land has blossomed like a rose with the returning Jewish people. I would say the existence of the nation of Israel refutes the prophetic incorrect views of post-trib, pre-wrath, ammillennialism etc. However, I have noticed that people in these incorrect prophetic views are so confused they cannot realize this fact.

All incorrect prophetic views have created some kind of "replacement" theology. Keep in mind there is only one way to be saved through the Lord Jesus. However, the Church has NOT replaced Israel. You see the incorrect prophetic views create some kind of replacement theology where the physical promises of the land of Israel to the descendents of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob are replaced by the Church. This is really foolish and God has refuted this thought Himself by the creation of Israel in 1948. It is true that the Church receives the spiritual blessings through Abraham but not the physical land of Israel. That land belongs to God and He has given it with eternal promises to the physical seed of Abraham, Issac, and Jacob. God has sealed this fact for all to see with the resoration and blessing of the nation of Israel in 1948.

Right now we are in the Church age which is a time period between the 69th and 70th week of Daniel's prophecy. After the rapture the prophetic plan goes back to Israel as they fulfill the 70th week of Daniel's prophecy.

Sadly, I have noticed that people who are confused in Bible prophecy have very hardened hearts. Over the years I have seen many debates and have noticed one thing. People confused on Bible prophecy will not change their viewpoint no matter how much evidence is given to them. Here is some advise readers. If you meet a person who has his mind set on an incorrect view on Bible prophecy, don't spend time debating that person. I would say your time would be better spent doing something to get the Gospel out to the lost and perishing! Personally, I just point a anti-rapture person to some good documentation that will answer all his questions. Chances are very good that person won't ready any of it anyway as his mind is already made up. I've also seen that most anti-rapture people are set in their ways and will not be convinced no matter what is said. So why bother?

In these last days there are divisive people who run around and spend all their time attacking the truthfulness of the pre-trib doctrine. While they do this they are really showing their ignorance and they are also creating division from within the church. This type of behavior does not please the Lord! Like I mentioned, the existence of Israel in 1948 refutes all the false and incorrect positions on Bible prophecy. Yet few will listen who have accepted a wrong view on Bible prophecy.

I think it is very important that one's view on Bible prophecy not be a point of division in the Church. I know people who are confused in Bible prophecy and I freely accept them as brothers in Christ. You see ones position on Bible prophecy has no bearing on salvation. It really does not matter what prophetic viewpoint a person has in relation to salvation. Prophecy is "icing on the cake" and is a great encouragement in these last days to believe it correctly.

2 Thess 2
1 Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him,

Notice the verse above: 1) The Lord Jesus is coming. This will happen at the climax of the battle of Armageddon. 2) out gathering together unto Him. This gathering will happen at the pre-trib rapture just before the rise of the antichrist.

In these last days where many pervert and deny Bible prophecy, do not allow anyone to steal away your blessed hope of meeting the Lord Jesus in the rapture!

Titus 2
13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;
