In these last days there exist some confusion about some Biblical doctrines. These doctrines have nothing to do with salvation. Did you know it is possible to be wrong on some things and still be saved? Our salvation is by receiving the Lord Jesus (God in human flesh) who came to earth and shed His blood and paid for our sins on the cross. What we must do is to simply repent of sin and accept the Lord Jesus as our Lord and Saviour. But after salvation a Christian should grow and learn Biblical doctrines. Three doctrines are presented in this article and hopefully the reader will increase in understanding after reading.
Lets start with the fact of the coming pre-tribulation rapture which will occur very soon. Let me say that this is not the only rapture found in the Bible. Enoch was the first to be raptured. Next there is Moses. He was raptured and saw things in heaven and came back and later died. Next, Elijah was raptured as he went to heaven in a chariot of fire. The Lord Jesus was raptured up to heaven and his disciple saw it. Paul was raptured to heaven and saw things then came back and later died. The next but not last rapture will be the rapture of the Church before the tribulation. After the 7 year tribulation starts there will be a couple of mid-tribulation raptures. The two witnesses will be killed and 3 days later they will ascend up to heaven for all to see. After that, at some point the 144,000 will be raptured to heaven. Finally, at the end of the 7 year tribulation the angels will be sent forth and they will gather up the righteous. This is another rapture.
As you can see there are many raptures in the Bible. It is interesting that the Church can be seen in the Bible in Revelation chapters 2 and 3. In chapter 4 the Church is taken up to heaven and after the Bema judgment is seen around the throne of God. The Church is not seen again until the return of the Lord Jesus in Revelation chapter 19. This article is not an extensive study at all on the pre-trubulation rapture. I would suggest that if needed, you investigate further. Dwight Pentecost wrote an excellent book called 'Things to Come'. Get his book and start learning. On utube there are some good pastors that teach on the pre-tribulation rapture.
The tragedy is that I have seen people totally against the pre-tribulation rapture. They seem to spend all their time in attacking the pre-tribuation rapture and do little else. It is interesting that those against the pre-tribulation rapture do not spend their time attacking other versions of the rapture. For example, you do not see a post-tribulation rapture person attacking the mid-tribulation rapture person. The focus is only to attack the pre-tribulation rapture! I was even told once that I was not saved because I believed in the pre-tribulation rapture. I responded by asking how a person is saved. I'm not familiar with any gospel that says believe in the post-tribulation rapture in order to be saved. This person ignored my question and continued on attacking the pre-tribulation rapture.
Let me say that if you do not believe in the pre-tribulation rapture that you can still be saved and going to heaven. Our salvation is based on the Lord Jesus and His finished work on the cross and not on the belief of the timing of the rapture. But as quoted in the verse above, there will be the second coming of the Lord Jesus and there will be our gathering to Him (the pre-tribulation rapture). There are 2 different events separated by the conjunction AND. Here is the verse again:
2Th 2:1 Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, AND by our gathering together unto him,
You are a King James Onlyist! This is an attack by the devil on the Word of God. The assumption is that if you are not open to receive perverted versions of the Bible then you are evil and a King James Onlyist. Lets ask the question, why is the King James Bible the best version for the English language? The answer is that it is based on uncorrupted manuscripts. The King James Bible is based on the Textus Receptus manuscripts. The modern versions are based on corrupted and bad manuscripts. One of the manuscripts used in the modern versions of the Bible is the Wesccott and Hort version. These two men were evil and they practiced spiritism. They hated God and His Word. In their version of the manuscripts they deliberately omitted and changed certain verses. Other than Wescott and Hort here are some corrupt documents also used in the "modern" versions of the Bible:
- Codex Vaticanus
- Codex Siniaticus
- Alexandrian texts
This is why whole books have been written about the King James vs the "modern" versions that are based on corrupted manuscripts. Verses have been removed and words have been changed by these "modern" versions.
So the term King James Onlyist is nothing more than an attack by the devil on the Word of God. The King James has been blessed by God above all other versions and still is very popular today. I heard of one guy who was interviewed and he said the he liked the King James Bible the best. When asked why, he replied, because it sounds like God talking.
The reason the King James Bible is the best for the English language is it is based on better uncorrupted manuscripts. There are times, however, when reading the King James Bible when you have to go into the meaning of the original text to get the meaning of the verse. Here is an example:
Mat 16:17 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.
Mat 16:18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.
The Catholic church wrongly interpreted the above verses as Peter was the rock that the church is built on. But when the Greek is examined a different interpretation is obtained. Peter is called a tiny pebble and the huge rock is what the Church is build upon. Peter is just one of the pebbles that are on the huge rock of the Church which is founded upon the Lord Jesus.
There is another example in Genesis chapter 6 which we will cover in the next section. In conclusion, do not go around calling people who believe the King James Bible is the best English translation, a King James Onlyist. If you do you are playing into the hands of the devil who hates the Word of God.
Here is what the Bible says in Genesis chapter 6:
Gen 6:1 And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them,
Gen 6:2 That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose.
Gen 6:3 And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years.
Gen 6:4 There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.
These verses say that when men multiplied upon the earth that daughters were born to them and they were pretty. At this point the 'sons of God' saw them and took them to be their wives and children were born of them. The supposed big issue is who were the 'sons of God'. This is something brought over from the Catholic church at the reformation but not rejected. It was the false doctrine of the Sethites. This teaches that the sons of Seth failed to separate with the daughters of Cain. This failure to separate brought on the flood of Noah's day. There are many problem that prove this theory wrong. Here are just a few:
- the command to separate was not given until Genesis chapter 11. There was no command to be separate before the days of Noah in Genesis chapter 6.
- when humans reproduce they produce humans. It does not matter if they are wicked or righteous. Humans reproduce other humans. They do not reproduce another creature called a Nephilim or giant.
- to assume the sons of Seth are good and the sons of Cain are evil is a major fallacy. If that were true then why did God send a flood to kill everyone except Noah and his family. Were all the Sethites evil?
- Plus there is evidence that Cain repented and some of his children were righteous. So the claim that all the children of Cain were evil is not true.
There are more reasons why the Sethite theory is wrong but the above is enough to show it is wrong, false, and fake.
So who were the 'sons of God' mentioned above? It was not mankind as when men reproduce they have human babies. To get the answer, the original Hebrew must be looked at. The word for 'sons of God' is Bene Ha'elohim. This word is only used in 1 other place in the Bible.
Job 1:6 Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them.
As you can see the Bene Ha'elohim are Gods created angels. There is no difference made between good or evil angels. By the context of Genesis 6, we can easily see it was the fallen angels who married the daughters of men and giants or Nephilim were born unto them.
What is a Nephilim? The answer it is the offspring of a human and other DNA. It is a hybrid creature made from corrupted human DNA. These creatures were larger than humans. Their size was anywhere from 8 feet to 36 feet. Their skulls were not human skulls. A human skull is made up with 4 plates. The Nephilim had a skull with only 3 plates. The skull was also much larger at the back of the head. It extended way further back than a human skull. They had 6 fingers and toes. Some of them had 2 sets of teeth in their mouth. Why do I know this? Because their skeletons have be found by those who do research on the Nephilim. L.A.Marzulli and Tom Horn come to mind.
Now why did Satan have his fallen angels to marry humans have babies by them? It was a plan to corrupt the human DNS so the Messiah could not be born. Satan knew that the seed of the women would one day defeat him.
Gen 3:15 And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.
Satan and his fallen angels almost succeeded in destroying the human race by corrupting human DNA. However, God preserved and saved Noah and his family on the arc. Two by two of the animals came to the arc because God wanted to preserve the animal DNA from corruption as well. Then God sent the flood and destroyed all the other creatures on the planet. The arc preserved human and animal DNA.
We are told in Genesis chapter 6:4 that 'There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that'. This means that there were Nephilim in the days of Noah and afterword. This can be seen in the Old Testament when Israel was returning to their land after leaving Egypt. Remember when the 12 spies were sent out the check out the land? They returned and 10 of them were fearful saying there are giants in the land and we are but grasshoppers in their sight. God was displeased and they were forced into the desert until that generation died off. After, the children of Israel were told to go into the land and conquer it. This they did and the giants were defeated and wiped out. Some of the giants in the land knew they were doomed so they ran away to escape. Some went up north and others built ships and went to south and north America. Today, a couple of places where many skeletons of the Nephilim are found in Peru and in the Ohio valley. But the Nephilim skeletons have been found world-wide. This is also why God gave the children of Israel the command to conquer and wipe out man, women, children, and animals. They were purging the land of the Nephilim and removing corrupted DNA. Remember King David? He fought and defeated a Nephilim giant called Golliath. Also, there is a tradition done by the American Indians. When they saw a stranger they raised their hand and said 'how'. Why did they do this? The reason is when the hand is raised they could easily count the number of fingers. They were fearful of the 6 fingered giants/Nephilim in the land.
Why do people not know about the finds of Nephilim skeletons and evidence? The reason is the Darwinists have actively suppressed information about the Nephilim. You see the existence of the Nephilim destroys their theory of evolution. They have a chart where a monkey walks and it gets bigger and walks more uprightly until the human of today. This chart is found everywhere, in schools, museums etc. A 36 foot giant Nephilim just does not fit into their chart. You see the devil plans to use the deception of evolution in a mighty way in the days coming. After the rapture of the church, God will send a big lie into the world. Demons will be openly seen amongst men. They will claim to be space aliens who are here to help mankind "evolve" to the next level of existence. It is nothing more than the 'ye shall be as gods' deception spoken by the devil in the garden of Eden.
Mat 24:37 But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
We are told that just as were the days of Noah, so will the days be like before the return of the Lord Jesus. This means there will be Nephilim creatures all over the world. Guess what the transhumanist scientists are doing and have been doing for the last 20-30 years? They have been creating creatures with human and animal DNA. Because the creature is not human, God will not send a human spirit into the creature. Since the creature is not animal, God will not send an animal spirit into the creature. Instead the demonic is free to possess this creature. A Nephilim is a way the demonic can get a body and live in our world. This is why God historically destroyed completely the Nephilim on earth. They were the demonic in a body. This will happen again before the second coming of the Lord Jesus. Today the scientists are bragging that they are going to create human version 2.0. They claim that humans can be greatly enhanced. My mixing characteristics/DNA of animals into the egg of a human, the creature born will have enhanced abilities. The eyes could see into the infa-red spectrum. They could have radar like a bat. They could be smarter and stronger than current humans. They claim these creatures could live for hundreds of years and be immune to certain diseases like cancer. Little do they know that new diseases will be unleashed that currently do not exist. What they are doing is creating Nephilim creatures with corrupted DNA. So the days before the return of the Lord Jesus will be just like the days of Noah.
