This December 2004 there was a major series of earthquakes at the end of the ring of fire volcano/fault line. The earthquake occurred at sea and after many were killed by a tsunami that hit several countries.
This disaster tells me two things in light of Bible Prophecy:
- Disaster can strike at any time. The people killed after this disaster did not see it coming. People got up in the morning and prepared for their day. Little did they know it would be their last day on earth! What about you reader? Are you ready to stand before the Lord? Is the Lord Jesus your Lord and Saviour or will you perish in your sins?
- This is just a foretaste of the type of death and destruction that is coming! God has said that He has appointed a time when He will judge the earth:
Acts 17
31 Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the
world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof
he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him
from the dead.
The day of judgment is coming and it will not be long from our present time! How long will the Lord allow: acceptance of the occult, widespread immorality and sodomy, abortion, the rejection of the Lord Jesus, the Bible, and His people. Right now we are at the point in human history when the antichrist is about to be revealed. The people of the earth are ready as they have accepted Satan's music (rock music), Satan's religion (the occult - Harry potterism etc), and Satan's morality (adultery, fornication, and sodomy).
The only thing holding back the antichrist is the Spirit reborn people who are still on planet earth. However, after the rapture that will change and God's restraint will be removed. Here is what will happen as soon as God removes the restraining influence of the Holy Spirit working in and through God's people;
2 Thess 2
6 And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed
in his time.
7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who
now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.
8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall
consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with
the brightness of his coming:
9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all
power and signs and lying wonders,
10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that
perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that
they might be saved.
11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that
they should believe a lie:
12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but
had pleasure in unrighteousness.
After the restraint is removed, the antichrist will rise to power. He will rule and reign on earth for a total of 7 years. During that time, God will judge the world. He will pour out all his judgments found in the book of revelation from chapters 5-18.
At the end of the 7 year period the population of earth which is currently near 7 billion will be reduced to only a few million, if that! The above tragedy was great. Every day the death count increases! During the coming 7 year tribulation period, God will judge the earth. The judgments of the book of Revelation are poured out on the earth. These judgments are: The 7 seals, the 7 trumpets, and the 7 bowls of the wrath of God. During this 7 year period the following judgments will hit planet earth:
Seal judgments:
-1st Seal: White horse (Antichrist) to conquer
-2nd Seal: Wars on earth
-3rd Seal: Worldwide economic troubles
-4th Seal: Death released. 1/4 of the worlds population to die by plagues,
disease, beasts of the earth etc.
-5th Seal: Persecution and killing of God's people worldwide
-6th Seal: Massive earthquake
-7th Seal: Silence then the 7 trumpet judgments
Trumpet judgments
-1st Trumpet: Hail, fire, and blood. 1/3 all grass and trees burned up
-2nd Trumpet: Great mountain hits sea. 1/3 all ocean becomes blood. 1/3
all sea life dies and 1/3 all ships destroyed.
-3rd Trumpet: Wormwood star hits earth. 1/3 all freshwater poisoned.
-4th Trumpet: 1/3 of sun and moon darkened
-5th Trumpet: locust beasts that sting and torment men loosed from the pit
-6th Trumpet: demons released and 200 million Eastern army kills 1/3 of the
world's population
-7th Trumpet: Cries from heaven and 7 bowl judgments to be released on earth
Bowl Judgments:
-1st Bowl: Terrible and painful sores break out on all who worship beast
-2nd Bowl: Entire ocean becomes blood. All sea life dies
-3rd Bowl: Fresh water becomes blood. No more fresh drinking water
-4th Bowl: Sun increased in heat and scorches and burns people
-5th Bowl: Supernatural darkness on earth
-6th Bowl: Great Eastern army heads toward Armageddon in the Middle East
for the final battle
-7th Bowl: Babylon destroyed, massive earthquakes, and 100 pound
hailstones devastate earth.
As you can tell the above judgments will devastate planet earth and all the people alive during that time. Some of the judgments are terrible with the death of 1/4 or 1/3 of the entire earth's population! This is much greater than anything seen on earth so far!
In fact unless the Lord intervenes everything on earth will die! See the following verse:
Matt 24
21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since
the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.
22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no
flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall
be shortened.
The good news is that this world will never be destroyed! God will not allow it. However, He will destroy all the wicked out of His Creation. These are people who reject the only way of salvation through the Lord Jesus. These people reject the Lord Jesus and by doing so are telling God that they choose to pay for their sins themselves. These people will perish in hell forever!
Here is a short tract encouraging all to come to the Lord Jesus to be saved. Your sins must be paid for and either you accept the Lord Jesus or you reject Him and tell God you will pay for your sins yourself. The penalty is an eternity in hell!

know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these

thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?

be born of water and [of] the Spirit, he cannot enter into the
kingdom of God.
6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is
born of the Spirit is spirit.

thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth:
so is every one that is born of the Spirit.
HOW TO BE BORN AGAIN:

15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have
eternal life.
16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten
Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have
everlasting life.
17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world;
but that the world through him might be saved.
18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that
believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in
the name of the only begotten Son of God.
19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the
world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their
deeds were evil.
20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh
to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.
21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds
may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.

upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him.
Luke 13 3 I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.
THE LORD JESUS PAID THE PENALTY:
Isaiah 53
5 But he [was] wounded for our transgressions, [he was] bruised
for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace [was] upon him;
and with his stripes we are healed.

12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become
the sons of God, [even] to them that believe on his name:
13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh,
nor of the will of man, but of God.
SINNERS PRAYER
Lord Jesus, I admit that I am a sinner. Right now I ask You to come into my life to forgive and save me. I receive You as my Saviour (trusting in You ALONE to save me) and my Lord (making You my Master and committing my life to You).
