As you know at the end of each 7 years on the last day (Elul 29) the Shemita ends. In 2001 on that day there was a crash in the stock market. In 2008 on Elul 29 (last day of the Shemita), there was another stock market crash. Going back from 2001, I have seen there have been economic negative events happening many times. This September 13, 2015 was again Elul 29 at the very end of the Shemita. At this time nothing happened. This was very contrary to the pattern already established on the Elul 29 at the end of the Shemita. Why did nothing happen this time when there was a definite pattern of things happening at the end of previous Shemita's? I have a theory why nothing happened at the end of this Shemita which will be presented.
God has sent many warnings of impending judgment to North America and the world over the last many years. Some of these warnings have occurred on the last day of the Shemita. The result has been the same worldwide. There has been no repentance and no turning back to the Lord. Instead, there is a complete rejection of God, the Bible, and Christians in the world. The things of Satan are loved and accepted while God is rejected. Let me give a few examples. That devil worshipper and rock and roller, Madonna, started up a tour of shows on Sept 12, 2015. I had a look and there are several shows lined up for this year. The first two were sold out with no tickets available. In her show whe will blaspheme God as she desecrates the Bride (the Church) and welcomes down the fallen angels. Sadly, she has a willing audience to watch her evil shows. Another example of accepted evil is to look at the booklists. Very popular was the occultic Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Twilight, and even Narnia. These things of the occult should never be accepted and read. Yet they were accepted at all levels of society and even in churches. God was rejected while satanic entertainment was loved. For the last few years now, one could not even watch the halftime show at the superbowl football game because of the satanic performance "show/ritual". This also applies to the award shows like the Grammy's. Satan is glorified and God is mocked. Sadly the people love it and want it. There is no repentance or turning to the Lord even though many warning signs of judgment have been given.
Yet God still has sent many signs and warnings of impending judgment. They were all rejected and there was no repentance. In fact there was a major turning away from God toward evil instead.
Here is my point. There comes a time when God realizes it is useless to continue to warn of judgment to those who will not hear. It is literally time for judgment to happen. This is my "theory" as to why nothing at all happened at the end of this Shemita cycle. God's warnings of judgment were totally rejected and there was no repentance at all. Therefore it is the time for judgment to occur at a time of God's choosing. Nothing happened at the end of this Shemita because judgment is set and it is coming. There is no point for any further warnings given to a God rejecting people. Look at these sobering verses in the Bible which describes what I am saying:
Jer 15
1 Then said the LORD unto me, Though Moses and Samuel stood before me, yet my mind could not be toward this people: cast them out of my sight, and let them go forth.
2 And it shall come to pass, if they say unto thee, Whither shall we go forth? then thou shalt tell them, Thus saith the LORD; Such as are for death, to death; and such as are for the sword, to the sword; and such as are for the famine, to the famine; and such as are for the captivity, to the captivity.
3 And I will appoint over them four kinds, saith the LORD: the sword to slay, and the dogs to tear, and the fowls of the heaven, and the beasts of the earth, to devour and destroy.
Yes judgment is coming on those in sin loving North America and even in the world. How and when is God's choosing. When judgment happens, it will be very devestating. Lets go further. The entire world has gone reprobate loving evil and hating good. It is coming close to the time when God will judge the entire world during the 70th week of Daniel's prophecy. This is also the time known as the day of the Lord. During this time the 7 seals of Revelation chapter 6 are opened which are the wrath of God. This period starts after the rapture/harpazo of the Church and the antichrist/beast signs a 7 year covenant with Israel. The first day of that covenant is the beginning of the 70th week of Daniel's prophecy.
Let me repeat my point again. The fact that nothing happened at the end of the Shemita is a very bad thing. There is a strong possibility that the time of warnings of impending judgment is over. Many good and Godly people warned about the Shemita and what might happen on the last day. God chose to not let anything happen at the end of the Shemita and that is a major warning to us. It is like throwing pearls to pigs. If warning of judgment will not be listened to and be met with indifference rather than repentance, then the time of warning may be over. If judgment is set then it will happen but only at God's appointed time.
If you do not know the Lord Jesus as your Saviour, then you should be very worried and even fearful. Divine wrath is coming and unless you repent and accept the only Saviour, the Lord Jesus, you will burn forever in the lake of fire. During the time of the wrath of God, all the wicked will literally be destroyed from off the earth. They will die and go to hell where they will await the great white throne judgment. After that, they will be cast into the lake of fire and be in torment for all eternity.
This also means that there is no set time for the start of the 70th week of Daniel's prophecy. It could have started when the Shemita ended in 2015 or it could start in September 2022 after this 7 year cycle ends... or it could start at any time. God chose not to do anything against the previous patterns of history Shemita's. This means the 70th week of Daniel's prophecy does not have to wait until the next Shemita cycle.
The rapture/harpazo is a totally imminent event. Nothing has to happen before the rapture occurs. The important thing is to be ready to meet the Lord Jesus today. Time is running out and the Lord could very well come quickly and before most expect. It is time to accept the Lord Jesus right now! Here is a suggested prayer:
Lord Jesus,
I admit that I am a sinner. I realize that sin has a penalty of separation from God and an eternity in the lake of fire. Right now I turn from my sins and receive the Lord Jesus as my only Saviour. Lord Jesus come into my heart and life and save me. I trust in you alone for salvation and to be my Lord and my Saviour. Amen
