I've been watching on the internet and have noticed the start of a trend. It looks like things are getting ready for the big deception to be revealed upon the earth. Of course along with the coming big deception there will also be many small deceptions.
Lets look at the following Scripture as it describes the big deception/delusion that will blind and deceive the lost of this world unto perdition.
2 Thess 2
7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now
letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.
8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall
consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with
the brightness of his coming:
9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all
power and signs and lying wonders,
10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that
perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that
they might be saved.
11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that
they should believe a lie:
12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but
had pleasure in unrighteousness.
As you can see this big deception is also related to the rise and reign of the antichrist which will occur after the rapture of the church. God has a purpose for this deception and His reason is given in verse 12 above. Lost men have heard the Gospel and totally rejected the Lord Jesus and salvation. Therefore, God will send a great deception for the lost to believe in with all their hearts. These people rejected the truth found only in the Bible and salvation found only in the Lord Jesus. Therefore God will allow these people to believe a lie with all their hearts! God has purposed that these people are to perish and until they die and go to hell, they will believe this lie with all their hearts.
This is a serious warning to the lost! There comes a time when God gives up on a lost person. God allows each person free choice to accept or reject salvation only found in the Lord Jesus. Once a person hardens their heart to the point where they will never be saved, God gives up on such a person. The Lord will not force a person to be saved and will honor a lost person's freedom of choice. Once God gives up on a lost person, that person will believe lies and falsehoods right up to the day they die and perish forever in hell. These people rejected the truth so they will believe lies and falsehoods with all their hearts. So, lost person, be warned! Today is the day of salvation and there is no promise for tomorrow!
WHAT IS THE BIG LIE?
I've written on this subject before and have given my guesses as to what this great delusion will be. I still believe that the great lie will involve believe in UFO's, contact with them, and proof of life on another planet. Much "scientific" evidence will be produced and the lost people of this world will believe this information with all their hearts. As a result of all this scientific breakthrough knowledge, the Bible will be "proven" to be mythology and fairy tales to the lost people of this world. It will even be banned and rejected on a much greater scale than it is done today.
As you know today the Bible is rejected and regarded as hate literature by the sexually immoral and perverted who claim their "rights" and choice to their sexual perversions. These lost people totally reject the Bible and have had success in getting it defined as "hate" literature. This is only the beginning of what plans the devil has for the Word of God.
The main purpose of the coming big deception is to seemingly refute the Bible. By using "scientific" proof and real appearances from so-called space aliens, the Bible will be totally discredited in the eyes of the lost Christ rejecting sinner.
Here is the evidence I'm seeing regarding this big lie so far:
1) UFO's - For the last 50 years there have been many sightings, claimed abductions, and testimonies as to the existance of UFO's. From crop circles to strange lights in the night, people have accepted the concept that there are "friendly" space beings out there waiting to make contact with earth. Also, hollywood has produced many movies and shows on this topic. People have been trained and de-sensitized to the belief in UFO's who will one day make contact with humans. It is expected that they will one day be revealed to the world. Let me quickly say that UFO's are nothing more than a manifestation of Satan and his demons. The whole UFO scene is related to the occult and demonology. The entire world of the occult has embraced UFO's and contact with these beings. For the Christian, UFO's are nothing new since they are part of Satan's kingdom.
2) Contact with UFO's. From Star Trek to the movies, the UFO's are expected one day to make contact with earthlings. A major theme from Hollywood is that mankind has evolved to the place where our friendly space brothers will make contact. It is claimed that Earth has evolved to the point where mankind are ready to become a part of the space federation of alien beings. Also, people have seen the common theme where the aliens are the ones who created life here on earth millions of years ago by cloning or the test tube. After creating life they visited occasionally to see how the evolution of mankind was progressing. Right now mankind is ready to go up to the next level in their evolutionary pathway. All this involves contact with UFO's in the days ahead as the human race enters the next stages of evolution.
3) Also part of the big deception, scientific evidence is being built concerning life on other planets. There are people that can produce all kinds of "evidence" of previous life on Mars. Also the space rovers sent back many pictures. People are building evidence that some of the rocks caught on camera are not naturally formed. There is also new technologies that will be revealed that will amaze the people on earth. Of course it will be claimed that the friendly space aliens helped give us this new technology. There are all kinds of other scientific claims being put together regarding life on other planets etc. The natural question is what happened to these civilizations that once existed on these planets... or do they still exist? When the time is right all this evidence will be used to convince the people of the earth that the Bible is just a big lie. In light of all the "scientific" evidence, people will be convinced with the deception of the evolution of mankind. The Bible will be nothing more than trash and falsehoods to the lost Christ rejecting sinner. The day will come when the Bible will be declared a forbidden book and possessing one will be a crime.
All this "evidence" and contact with demons impersonating space aliens will make the coming deception very believable to the lost hellbound Christ rejecting sinner.
BELIEVING THE LIE
Matt 24
23 Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ,
or there; believe it not.
24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets,
and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if
it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.
One of the characteristics of these last days will be lies and deceptions with the purpose of turning people away from God, the Bible, and salvation only found in the Lord Jesus.
The deceptions of our day are great right now and will only get worse. When it is time to reveal the antichrist - and only God knows the exact time, the big lie will be revealed to the world. There will be scientific proof as well as supernatural proof. People will literally see demons who will claim to be space beings here to help mankind. In light of all the evidence produced, the lost people of this world will believe in this deception with all their hearts until the day they forever perish in hell.
The good news for Christians is that time is running out. Everything is ready for the time when the antichrist will rise to power. The world has embraced sexual immorality, murder (abortions), and the world of the occult.
Over the years, Christians have been warning of impending judgment from God. They can see that the time of the end of the age is now upon the world and things are getting ready for the revealing of the antichrist. Look at the following verses:
1 Thess 5
2 For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord
so cometh as a thief in the night.
3 For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden
destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman
with child; and they shall not escape.
4 But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day
should overtake you as a thief.
Above verse 4 clearly states that Christians will be able to see the day of the Lord coming. They will not know the exact day but they can know the general time frame. Guess what? We are in that time right now. Everything is ready for the antichrist to be revealed to this lost and dying world. The big deception is ready and even now we can see the world getting ready for the revealing of the antichrist. The only thing holding these things back is the rapture of the Church to heaven.
Remember, one day the rapture will happen and Satan will be free to do all the evil he has planned for earth. The antichrist will rise to power and he will rule the earth for seven years. During that time all the judgments of the book of Revelation will be poured out on planet earth. The current world population of almost 7 billion will be reduced to the millions by the end of the 7 year tribulation period.
CONCLUSION
If the world is a stage then all the show props are ready. The actors have taken their places and the musicians are ready to go. Soon earth will enter its darkest days before the Lord Jesus returns to earth at the climax of the battle of Armageddon. Yes, things are setup and ready for the rise of the antichrist and his New World Order. Once the rapture of the Church occurs, the restraint will be removed and the devil will be set free for a short time to do his evil works.
I certainly hope you have chosen the Lord Jesus to be your Lord and Saviour. People must make a choice and God will honor that choice. Either accept the Lord Jesus now or reject Him. Do it now as time is quickly running out.

world; but that the world through him might be saved.
18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that

19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the
world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because
their deeds were evil.
20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither
cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.
