LAST DAYS DECEPTIONS AND WARNINGS
by Alan Yusko

1 John 4
1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.
2 Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:
3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

Above, Christians have been clearly warned to beware of false prophets and teachers. We are told not to believe what everyone says in spiritual matters. Instead we are commanded to try (or test) the spirits to see if they are from God. If their teaching is not from God then it is from the devil and is evil, deceptive, and dangerous. We are to reject the false teachers and their doctrinal heresy.

Today all kinds of wolves are speaking in the name of Jesus. They prophesy many false prophecies, they see false visions, they teach heretical teachings, and some claim healings and other magical powers.

The key is to look at their teaching in relation to the Lord Jesus Christ. The first thing to see is their teaching on the Trinity. All wolves, antichrists, and false teachers deny the Trinity and the fact that Jesus is God manifest in human flesh. However, some false teachers are not openly anti-Trinitarian and are more difficult to spot. But these wolves present a Jesus who is not the Jesus of the Bible. They may teach He did an incomplete sacrifice, or that He is some kind of a rock and roll Jesus, or that He is a Holy Ghost bartender type of Jesus. The end result is always the same. The false teachers preach another Jesus and another Gospel than what is revealed in the Bible. But this is no surprise as God has warned of deceivers.

2 Cor 11
4 For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him.

Gal 1
6 I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel:
7 Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.
8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.

There will be many deceivers in the last days! This can be clearly seen today as there is no shortage of false teachers spreading heresy while claiming to be 'Christian'. The above verse in Galatians says that such false teachers are literally 'accursed' of God. Let me tell you, this is very serious to commit such a crime where you are considered 'accursed' by God!

Mat 24
11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.

The really sad thing is not the false teachers, but rather professing Christendom itself. These false teachers should be rejected and thrown out of Churches. Instead they are welcomed and treated as celebrities and idols by many gullible people (who really ought to know better). Then to make things worse when people are warned of these false teachers they reject both the message and the messenger. This is truly an indication that we are in the last days where there will be a great falling away.

2 Thess 2
3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

In these last days there will not be a great revival. No, instead there will be a great falling away. What will people fall away from? The answer: they will reject the foundations of Biblical Christianity. I've noticed that the wolves are screaming revival and spiritual outpouring manifesting in signs and wonders. All this is done while heresy is blessed and prospered by the false teachers.

2 Timothy 4
3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;

The sad thing is these wolves do not love God's people. They do not serve God and do not seek the best for God's people. Instead these wolves serve number one.... themselves!

Rom 16
17 Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them.
18 For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple.

It is very sad, but many in the Church have been deceived by these multitude of wolves. The youth have been deceived by rock and roll groups secular and religious. The adults have been deceived by fancy talking, self-centered heretics who claim to be servants of God (but serve the devil instead).

But their end is coming! These self serving wolves have a great payday ahead of them! Jude writes about them giving a description and their ultimate fate - blackest darkness!

Jude 1
4 For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.

Jude 1
10 But these speak evil of those things which they know not: but what they know naturally, as brute beasts, in those things they corrupt themselves.
11 Woe unto them! for they have gone in the way of Cain, and ran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the gainsaying of Core.
12 These are spots in your feasts of charity, when they feast with you, feeding themselves without fear: clouds they are without water, carried about of winds; trees whose fruit withereth, without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots;
13 Raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; wandering stars, to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness for ever.

Beware, if you are a Christian then you have been warned! We are now living in great days of deception. In fact the deception is so great that even Christians can be deceived!

Matt 24
24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

From that lead-on we now look at this article. A generation of youth that professes to be Christian has been deceived and led astray. How did the devil do this? He started with religious rock and roll in the 70's and the 80's. Today, the youth groups and many churches have openly embraced secular and religious rock and roll music. Those who love God will leave this demonic music. The tares will stay involved and addicted to Satan's music.
