To me this is an amazing topic! I guess I'm somewhat easily surprised. You see back in the 1980's I never thought "Christian" rock and roll would make it into the church. But it did! Satan added a few "God" words and all the liberal apostate loving churches and tares accepted his music. In those days I realized their was a verse that perfectly sums up the liberal tares that love Satan's music. Here is that verse:
Titus 1
16 They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being
abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.
This has been shown very true on the rock music scene. It didn't just stay as "Christian" rock and roll. Over the years Satan made it much worse. There has been "Christian" punk rock, "Christian" heavy metal rock as well as many other Satanic flavors of this Satanic music.
It is really not a surprise as Satan has music ability built right into his being. See the following verses:
Ezek 28
13 Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone
was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl,
the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the
carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy
pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created.
14 Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee
so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up
and down in the midst of the stones of fire.
Notice above in verse 13 that Satan had musical instruments built into his very body. When God created him, He built in the ability through music to sing and praises to the Lord.
Of course when Satan fell due to pride, every skill and every aspect of his being was corrupted. This also means his ability for music would be corrupt as well.
When you look at what Satan has done with rock and roll and how he got it accepted into the churches, his corrupted music ability is behind it all! Remember Satan is a very good musician. Music ability is built into his very being. So it is not a hard thing to realize that he will use evil and corrupted music to deceive and enslave.
Sadly, in these days of great apostasy, Satan has succeeded in getting his rock music into liberal, apostate churches who have no love whatsoever for the Lord Jesus Christ!
CONCEPT OF A TEST FROM GOD
I want to make very clear a principle in the Word of God. The Lord allows people to be tested and tried so those who belong to Him will stand forth in love and obedience!
Think on the concept of the Lord allowing people to be tested as that is what is happening. Looking again at rock and roll, Satan brought this evil music into the Church. For each church infected with Satan's rock music the following happened:
1) Those who love the Lord rejected this music. They knew it was evil and strange fire before the Lord. These people did not want this evil to come into their midst.
2) Satan's people loved rock and roll music. They attacked anyone who dared to stand against this enjoyable music coming into the church. Pastors refused to listen to Godly Christians who warned them.
3) Those who love the Lord were forced to leave the church that grew liberal and apostate. They were rejected and were called unloving and divisive. God's people were forced to leave as they could not bear the evil in their midst. Those with children quickly left before their children were led astray by the apostate church.
4) The church did not just stop at accepting Satan's rock music. Instead over time they grew worse as greater levels of apostasy set in and was accepted.
5) The Lord Jesus also left these churches and is presently on the outside knocking at the door. Yet the God of the Bible is not wanted! These entertainment loving tares have chosen to go away from God and worship and serve a false god that accepts their evil ways.
What happened outlined in the five steps above is a test from God. What the Lord has accomplished is to separate true believers from the false ones. The Lord has been putting people to the test and those who love Him and wish to please and obey Him are separated from the hellbound crowd! Below is a verse that shows this concept of testing:
Deut 13
1 If there arise among you a prophet, or a dreamer of dreams,
and giveth thee a sign or a wonder,
2 And the sign or the wonder come to pass, whereof he spake
unto thee, saying, Let us go after other gods, which thou
hast not known, and let us serve them;
3 Thou shalt not hearken unto the words of that prophet, or
that dreamer of dreams: for the LORD your God proveth you,
to know whether ye love the LORD your God with all your
heart and with all your soul.
4 Ye shall walk after the LORD your God, and fear him, and
keep his commandments, and obey his voice, and ye shall
serve him, and cleave unto him.
Above the Lord shows a way that He tested the people of Israel in the Old Testament days. A false prophet would rise and would teach error. Satan would even give this false prophet the ability to give signs and wonders.
What was the result? Those who love the Lord would reject this false prophet. Satan's tares on the other hand would accept the false prophet. The end result would be a separation between God's people and Satan's people!
Can you see the relationship of this test today with what God did in the Old Testament? Above we discussed rock and roll music and how it's acceptance in the church separated God's people from Satan's people.
God puts people and churches to the test with the end result of separating His people from Satan's people. God did this in the Old Testament and He does it today! In fact, I have noticed that the days we are in are so evil that anyone who can fall away from the Lord, is falling away. There is a great separating between God's truly saved people and Satan's tares.
As you continue reading this article, keep in mind the concept of the Lord allowing people to be tested to see who is faithful and who is a Satanic tare.
THE OCCULT: ANOTHER TEST
I've already covered how Satan brought his evil music (rock and roll) and got this evil music accepted by his tares. This separated many people and churches! The result was a separation from the people of God and the people of Satan! This test was done from the 1980's through the 1990's.
After the year 2000 a new test was brought into the world to further separate God's people from Satan's people. The devil had the goal of getting the occult accepted by people who profess to be Christian!
Here is the question: Could Satan get the occult accepted by those who profess to be Christian? I guarantee you that the occult would not be accepted in churches during the 1950's - 1970's. However, today after year 2000 things are different. Satan has already succeeded in getting his rock music accepted. So could Satan also get his occultism accepted by church people and professing Christians?
The end result of this test in year 2005 is "yes". Those who love and belong to the Lord rejected the occult. Satan's people loved the occult entertainment! I'm referring to the occult training people see in Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings. These books and movies present and teach real occult practices, all of which are an abomination to the Lord.
Satan used many devices to trick the lost to accept the occult. The main technique was the lie that if anything is done by a "Christian" then it is acceptable. Then he convinced people that the occult loving Catholic, Tolkien was a Christian. In reality this man was not a Christian, but people believed he was. Since anything done by a Christian is good and acceptable, the tares were wide open to accept Satan's occultism in Lord of the Rings. From there people accepted Harry Potterism as it is really all the same demonic occultism.
A separation again occurred. God's people were not fooled and would not bow their knee to accept the occult into their families. Satan's tares were rude and abusive toward all who rejected Satan's occult entertainment. They did the same thing against those who dared to say Satan's rock music was evil!
It is also interesting to see that the false Christian tares want nothing to do with what the Bible says. These verses speak clearly on the occult and how God's people are to avoid such abominations to the Lord.
Deut 18
10 There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his
son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth
divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch,
11 Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a
wizard, or a necromancer.
12 For all that do these things are an abomination unto the
LORD: and because of these abominations the LORD thy God doth
drive them out from before thee.
All the above abominations are a major part of Lord of the Rings and Harry Potterism. The Satanic tare has no heart for sound Biblical teaching and he will reject all of it! The above verses are rejected by all who have accepted Satan's occult entertainment into their lives. These tares just do not care that they are committing an abomination to the Lord by getting real occult teaching via Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter.
Lev 20
6 And the soul that turneth after such as have familiar spirits,
and after wizards, to go a whoring after them, I will even set my
face against that soul, and will cut him off from among his people.
In the future there will be more occult entertainment for professing Christians to "enjoy" as they reject and ignore the warnings of Deut 18: 10-12 shown above. Watch for a movie on C.S. Lewis' occult Narnia series. I can hear the tares justifying this evil now.... "There is nothing wrong with Narnia" they say. blah, blah, blah the excuses and justifications will come. Finally the tares will grow rude and insulting as they defend their right to enjoy Satan's occult entertainment. Beware, the same tactics used on Satan's rock music, Harry Potter, and Lord of the Rings will be used again and again. Why not as these demonic tactics work!
God continues to separate the true believers from the false Christian tares who do not know the Lord. These tares are not saved and never were. Yet they have created a false god that accepts all their evil while letting them call themselves "Christian".
Remember this verse as it has great application in these last days of apostasy before the return of the Lord Jesus.

LOOKING TO THE FUTURE
We have looked at several trends already made popular among the false Christian tares Satan has in place within many churches. So what is coming next. Let's look at some coming trends that are already here but will continue to grow popular in the coming days. Finally, let's guess as to what will come next as the world embraces the morality and system of the antichrist.
Remember as we look at these coming things for "Christians" that God is allowing the testing to see who will remain faithful to Him! Those who belong to the Lord and who are faithful will reject all these evil trends!
CHRISTIAN NIGHTCLUB: ANOTHER TEST
Satan is very happy with his demonic rock and roll music. The next logical steps was to start setting up Christian nightclubs where the tares could come to "party". This way the tares can listen to many rock bands and dance on the dance floor with all the fancy lights. The tares will justify this evil as a good outreach and a place to have fun in the Lord. Those who belong to the Lord will have no part in any of it! Here are some examples:

Christian nightclub opens in downtown Mobile
Club JC, a Christian nightclub, opened in downtown Mobile last month,
operating in the freshly decorated Wings of Life building. Boasting new
paint job, murals on the walls, stage, stage lighting, DJ's booth,
colored strobe lights, snack bar, tables, game room and a dance floor,
it keeps young people from about 13 to college age interested.

CHRISTIAN YOGA: ANOTHER TEST
Yoga is part of Hinduism. Its goal is to bring the follower close to the Hindu god by occult types of exercise and breathing. Here is a question. Why take part in the occult in order to exercise? Why not buy a bike, jog, go for walks, lift weights, do aerobics, or buy a bowflex if a person wants to exercise the body? Why must a person embrace something evil like yoga and try to justify it and make it good somehow.
This is nothing more than another test to separate those who are Christian from those who are not. God is separating the wheat and the tares. Hindu practice. The Hindu practice of yoga - spiritual meditation through
physical exercise - is booming. But not everyone finds it spiritually
compatible - some Christians have long resisted the tradition with its
overtones of mysticism. In Mobile, Alabama, Susan Bordenkircher was one
of those people until the exercise teacher and United Methodist took her
first yoga class and fell in love with the practice. Since then, she
overcame her theological conflicts and produced two videos about Christian
yoga.
Bordenkircher disagreed with the emphasis on finding divinity in oneself
and achieving a higher level of spirituality by oneself espoused in some
yoga classes. She says that's God's doing. However, Bordenkircher says the
movement and rhythm of hatha (physical) yoga made her more centered and
reflective and more able to pray. Hindus strive for wisdom, knowledge and
inner concentration, which clearly overlap with Christian goals,
Bordenkircher says. "My feeling was it's worked for them, why shouldn't we
be able to do that?" she says. So Bordenkircher combined poses with Christian
references. During the warrior pose, she talks about breathing in the Holy
Spirit. She relates the child's pose to being at peace with God. And the
balance poses are about finding spiritual balance. "If it feels good for

Christian Yoga Church
Remarkable record produced by the Christian Yoga Church as a meditation
aid for their members. All-improvised jam session with religious chanting,
reed organ, and an array of weird percussion devices. There were many
religious orders in California during the '60s & '70s who produced similar,
Eastern influenced LPs, but none sound quite like this. "Turn On" was an
attempt at blending ancient, religious Yogi music with modern psychedelic
sounds and was carried out by several, um... inexperienced musicians. The
session was organized for spontaneity. One at a time, church members
entered the recording room, selected an instrument, and joined in. No music
was prepared in advance. And the instrument selection, unknown to members,
was very odd. Participants manned reindeer bells, metal bowls, toy flutes,
French horns, kazoos, and waterfalls. The end product is bumbling, magical,

New yoga classes seem to be popping up everywhere in every type. Power yoga. Hot yoga. Yoga for kids.
But I hadn't heard of "Christian yoga" until I got an e-mail from Emily Cobb, a minister's wife, who is starting a class in Matthews in February.
The idea struck me as paradoxical. I'm a Christian, and I've done yoga, but I never thought about mixing the two.
"We wanted to open the doors to people who were afraid," Cobb said. "We care about calling it Christian yoga because we wanted Christians to feel OK."
Yoga was born in India, a country of many religions, including Hinduism. It is a spiritual practice but not a religion, according to Richard Faulds, chairman of the board of the Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health in Massachusetts.
"Yoga is a set of spiritual practices that are about the body, the breath and the awareness," Faulds said. "Those practices can be used to fan the flame of any religious faith. They bring you in touch with the in-dwelling spirit in the body."
The word yoga means "a state of union of body, mind and spirit," Faulds said. "Can Christian people practice yoga and can it benefit their faith? Absolutely. ... Eighteen million people practice yoga every week in America, and many of them are faithful Christians."
Faulds said he would prefer the name "yoga for Christians" rather than "Christian yoga" because it suggests an "invitation for people to share Christian fellowship and explore the practice of yoga" rather than "making it Christian."
It's not Christian or un-Christian, he said. "The true teachings are
beyond name and form. Beyond Christ, beyond Buddha or Krishna."....

What is the Christian view of yoga?
Question: "What is the Christian view of yoga?"
Answer: For many Christians in the West who don't understand the history
behind it, yoga is simply a means of physical exercise, and strengthening and
improving flexibility of the muscles. However, the philosophy behind yoga is
much more than physically improving oneself. It is an ancient practice derived
from India, believed to be the path to spiritual growth and enlightenment.
The word "yoga" means "union," and the goal is to unite one's transitory (temporary) self with the infinite Brahman, the Hindu concept of "God." This "God" is not a literal being, but is an impersonal spiritual substance that is one with nature and the cosmos. This view is called "pantheism," the belief that everything is God, and that reality consists only of the universe and nature. Because everything is God, the yoga philosophy makes no distinction between man and God.
Hatha yoga is the aspect of yoga which focuses on the physical body through special postures, breathing exercises, and concentration or meditation. It is a means to prepare the body for the spiritual exercises, with less obstacles, in order to achieve enlightenment. The practice of yoga is based on the belief that man and God are one. It is little more than self-worship disguised as a high level of spirituality.
The question becomes, is it possible for a Christian to isolate the physical aspects of yoga as simply a method of exercise, without incorporating the spirituality or philosophy behind it? I don't believe so. Yoga originated with a blatantly anti-Christian philosophy, and that philosophy has not changed. It teaches one to focus on oneself instead of on the one true God. It encourages its participants to seek the answers to life's difficult questions within their own conscience instead of in the Word of God. It also leaves one open to deception from God's enemy, who searches for victims that he can turn away from God (1Peter 5:8).
Whatever we do should be done for God's glory (1Corinthians 10:31), and we would be wise to heed the words of the apostle Paul: "Fix your thoughts on what is true and honorable and right. Think about things that are pure and lovely and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise" (Philippians 4:8, NLT).

CHRISTIAN MARIJUANA
I won't post the link but there are already those who under the leadership of Satan are pushing the use of marijuana for Christians. All kinds of foolish arguments and justifications will be used to encourage the use of marijuana for tares who profess to be christian. Again, separation will occur. The wheat will reject marijuana use while Satan's tares will embrace and justify it!

The world (especially our government) has tried to lie to
us all for decades. They have tried to tell us that marijuana
makes you into a degenerate. They have tried to tell us that
if you do smoke marijuana that you are in a minority group
and that you are not "normal". They have tried to pin an
air of unnaturally all around the whole marijuana culture.
Lies, lies, lies.
The bible gives us specific evidence that God himself created
marijuana as a medicinal tool, a sacramental offering, and as
a many splendored agricultural blessing. The bible also warns
of the government in the first book of Timothy:
"But the spirit explicitly says that in later times some will
fall away from the faith, paying attention to deceitful spirits
and doctrines of demons...men who forbid marriage and advocate
abstaining from foods which God has created to be shared in by
those who believe and know the truth." 1 Timothy 4:1,3
Plants that God created are often referred to in the bible as
food, or meats (in the King James Version). This verse
prophetically foretells of the marijuana prohibition. The bible
is full of references to marijuana, such as 'calamus' which
is the word King James replaced 'cannabis' with. Even the
word 'cannabis' is rooted in 'Cana', the city where Jesus
performed his first miracle: changing water to wine. Genesis
tells how God created all plants...

CHRISTIAN PSYCHOLOGY
I won't go into great detail on this heresy in the church. Many "Christian' psychologists have arisen in the last 20 years and many are popular.
But what are the roots of psychology? The roots are atheism. Psychology tries to cure the spiritual needs and problems of man without God. The concepts of psychology are designed with the foundational belief that God does not exist.
Then comes the "Christian" psychologist. He takes these godless principles and techniques and attaches a few Bible verses to the system. Suddenly, we have Christian psychology!
Another problem is the foundational belief that the Bible is not sufficient for man's problems. Instead godless principles from atheists must be used.
OTHER EXAMPLES OF TESTING AND SEPARTING THE TRUE BELIEVER FROM THE FALSE ONE!
What is to be expected in future days? Here are some ideas. All these things will cause further separation between the true Christian and Satan's professing Christian tare.
- Christian Homosexual: There are already churches that cater to the sodomite where they all gather with a "pastor" and claim to be "Christian". However, as of now this type of thing is still not widely accepted. But we are only in year 2005 and with each day the world grows very close to the setup of the kingdom of the antichrist. Expect more widespread acceptance of sodomy. Satan is moving governments to pass laws for same-sex marriages and "hate" laws. Hollywood has also got onto Satan's propaganda bandwagon and is "teaching" people to accept sodomy by movies and TV. It will not be too long in the future, but the day of widespread acceptance is coming.
- Christian Stripper: This has not happened yet but the day is coming where people will rejoice in the human body - God's creation. This will be celebrated in apostate churches by a strip show in front of the congregation. Expect turnout to be good!
- Christian orgies: Expect people who profess to be Christian to get together for sexual orgy parties. They will celebrate their "liberty in Christ" by having sexual parties where anything goes.
- Christian drug use: We have already covered Christian marijuana use. In the days ahead look for others to advocate the use of other drugs for entertainment purposes.
- Christian Pornography: The day is coming where this will be accepted in churches. Christian bookstores will start carrying Christian porn magazines, probably published by quality "Christian" publishers who already publish perversions of the Bible such as the NIV etc. Church goers who arrive early can sit in the pew and openly look at "Christian" porn while waiting for the church service to begin.
DO you laugh at the above? Personally, I don't see how rock and roll and the occult was accepted in the church....but it was! I do know that those who love the Lord will have nothing to do with any of these Satanic trends!
CONCLUSION
It is easy to see that we are in the very last days before the return of the Lord Jesus. These days will be marked by a great apostasy and falling away from Bible truth!
2 Thess 2
3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come,
except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be
revealed, the son of perdition;
There can be no doubt that we are in those days today! The fact that rock and roll and witchcraft/occult has made it into professing Christian churches gives great evidence. Once those evils are accepted it is easy for Satan to introduce all kinds of sin and evil by putting the word "Christian" in front of it. This he has done and has enjoyed great success. But that is to be expected as soon the devil will be permitted by God to setup his kingdom of the antichrist on earth. After the rapture, the antichrist beast and his false prophet will be allowed to rise to power. Then after signing the covenant of death with Israel, all the judgments found in the book of Revelation will fall upon earth.
Right now Satan enjoys success as he is permitted to setup his kingdom of the antichrist. However, that success will be short lived and will be broken by the mighty judgments of God!
We covered in this article that through all the deceptions and false doctrines, God is putting people to the test. These things will separate the wheat from the chaff or God's people from Satan's tares that pretend to be a Christian. God allowed for testing of people in Old Testament days and He does the same today. Here are verses we covered that show the testing of God:

So the real question is did you pass the test? If you have accepted "Christian" rock music, or "Christian" occult entertainment (Harry Potter/Lord of the Rings etc), or "Christian" name_a_sin then you have failed the test. If you find yourself defending these sins and even getting nasty with people, then you have failed God's test.
Perhaps you were deceived but truly want to serve and obey God. The solution is simple. Repent and turn your heart back to the Lord. Stop defending Satan's sins that are attacking God's blood bought church. Then turn from the sin and remove the items from your home and destroy them. This is what Christians did in the following Scriptures:
Acts 19
17 And this was known to all the Jews and Greeks also dwelling
at Ephesus; and fear fell on them all, and the name of the Lord
Jesus was magnified.
18 And many that believed came, and confessed, and shewed their
deeds.
19 Many of them also which used curious arts brought their books
together, and burned them before all men: and they counted the
price of them, and found it fifty thousand pieces of silver.
20 So mightily grew the word of God and prevailed.
Of course right now you may be angry and have a mocking spirit at the topics covered in this article. If this describes you then the solution is quite simple. You are a lost hellbound sinner who has never repented of sin and turned to the Lord Jesus. Instead you love and defend all that Satan has to offer. Your home will be in hell unless you repent and turn with your whole heart to the Lord Jesus. There, did I just give you more material to get angry about and mock over? You can profess that you are a Christian all you want. But if you have taken sides with Satan, then you do not belong to God. This verse applies to you:
Titus 1
16 They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him,
being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work
reprobate.

"But exhort one another daily, while it is called Today; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin" (Heb 3:13).
