Lately I've read several articles about the possibility of a polar shift. The evolutionary "scientists" admit that something is wrong with the magnetic field in certain places on earth. They go on to say that every 200,000 years or so there is a polar shift. Then they say the last one occurred 720,000 years ago so we are long overdue. They then conclude that the next one will not be for a 1000 years (or so)... therefore don't worry about it. Pity these godless scientists don't know that man has only been on earth for 6,000 years!
Let's start by asking, what is a polar shift? This occurs when the north pole shifts place with the south pole. There are signs that this could be in the process of happening with all the strange weather and all the issues with the magnetic field. There have even been birds and other migratory animals who have become confused. This is a sign of trouble.

There have been several similar articles in the news lately. Changes are happening and no one really knows why. Secular scientists are baffled and really do not know what is happening.
Now to the real issue... what does the Bible say will happen. The evolutionary scientists can speculate all they want, but God is the one who knows all of human history from the beginning to the end. Does the Scriptures indicate the world will go through a polar shift in the last days before the return of the Lord Jesus? Have a look at the following from the Bible:
Isaiah 24
1 Behold, the LORD maketh the earth empty, and maketh it
waste, and turneth it upside down, and scattereth abroad
the inhabitants thereof.
2 And it shall be, as with the people, so with the priest;
as with the servant, so with his master; as with the maid,
so with her mistress; as with the buyer, so with the seller;
as with the lender, so with the borrower; as with the taker
of usury, so with the giver of usury to him.
3 The land shall be utterly emptied, and utterly spoiled:
for the LORD hath spoken this word.
4 The earth mourneth and fadeth away, the world languisheth
and fadeth away, the haughty people of the earth do languish.
5 The earth also is defiled under the inhabitants thereof;
because they have transgressed the laws, changed the ordinance,
broken the everlasting covenant.
6 Therefore hath the curse devoured the earth, and they that
dwell therein are desolate: therefore the inhabitants of the
earth are burned, and few men left.

19 The earth is utterly broken down, the earth is clean dissolved,
the earth is moved exceedingly.
20 The earth shall reel to and fro like a drunkard, and shall be
removed like a cottage; and the transgression thereof shall be
heavy upon it; and it shall fall, and not rise again.
21 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the LORD shall
punish the host of the high ones that are on high, and the kings
of the earth upon the earth.
22 And they shall be gathered together, as prisoners are gathered
in the pit, and shall be shut up in the prison, and after many
days shall they be visited.
23 Then the moon shall be confounded, and the sun ashamed, when
the LORD of hosts shall reign in mount Zion, and in Jerusalem,
and before his ancients gloriously.
Look of the above verses and see the results of the judgments from the Lord. Look at verse 1 above. The Lord says He will turn the earth upside down. This is an indication of a massive change in the rotation of the earth and this would certainly include a polar shift.
Next look at verses 19 and 20. The earth will be moved exceedingly. This is another indication of a polar shift and rotational changes. As a result of all these changes verse 19 says the earth is broken down. Verse 20 indicates the earth shall reel to and fro. That could indicate a very unstable rotational pattern resulting in all kinds of terrible conditions on the planet. Verse 6 indicates that after all God's judgments there will be few people left living on earth.
All this will occur during the 7 year reign of the antichrist. Yes, there will be a polar shift and there will be rotational changes. All this will happen as the Lord sends all the judgments found in chapters 5 through 18 in the book of Revelation. There will be 7 Seal, 7 Trumpet, and 7 bowl judgments poured out upon earth. All these judgments are the wrath of God which will be poured out on Christ rejecting sinful men and women.
The current world population of 6.8 billion will be reduced to perhaps a few million at the time the Lord Jesus returns to earth at the end of that 7 year period.
What does this mean today in light of Bible prophecy? Right now we are living in a world with all kinds of unusual weather and disasters. Expect all these things to get worse as we near the 7 year period when the antichrist rules the earth. Below is Scripture that shows the current plans of the world leaders who are working to setup the kingdom of the antichrist:
Psalms 2
1 Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?
2 The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take
counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed,
saying,
3 Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords
from us.
4 He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the LORD shall
have them in derision.
5 Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in
his sore displeasure.
The servants of the antichrist are busy right now trying to implement Satan's demonic kingdom. They are very happy as all their plans seem to be succeeding. Little do they know that after the rapture when the antichrist rules, the Lord will devastate them, their demonic kingdom, and the entire world with major Divine judgments. The wicked will have no peace, happiness, or security in their demonic kingdom of the antichrist! All the hard work of lying, murdering, and deceiving to setup the kingdom of the antichrist will be destroyed by the mighty hand of the Lord in judgment. Notice verse 4 above. The Lord will laugh at these wicked people and He will send great trouble and derision upon them and their Satanic plans.
CONCLUSION
Right now in human history we are living in the days before the rapture of the Church. The Lord is calling all to salvation who are willing to come. Soon the Lord Jesus will return and rapture home His people. This will remove the restraining influence of God's Holy Spirit which will allow Satan to bring to power the antichrist. The kingdom of the antichrist will be quickly setup and the antichrist will confirm a 7 year covenant with the nation of Israel. This officially marks the beginning of the 7 year reign of the antichrist.
Before the antichrist rises to power the world has been prepared to accept all the evils related to the kingdom and spirit of the antichrist. All the rock music, sexual immorality, sexual perversion, occultism, murders, and blasphemy will be widespread and a major part of the kingdom of the antichrist. Right now the lost people of the world accept all these evil sins and abominations to the Lord. Currently laws are being passed to protect the rights of evil men. The hearts of the lost people of the world are - right now - ready to accept the kingdom of the antichrist. The only thing holding the devil back from his goals is God's restraining power of the Holy Spirit.
During that 7 year reign of the antichrist there will be horrible and devastating Divine judgments from the Lord. There will be a polar shift and the rotation of the earth will be shaken. The earth will reel to and fro with these deadly judgments from God. At the end of the 7 year period there will only be a few million people left out of the current world population of about 6.8 billion.
Acts 17
31 Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge
the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained;
whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath
raised him from the dead.
In light of all this, the time to get saved is NOW! Repent of your sins and accept the Lord Jesus. Do it today as tomorrow may very well be too late!
