Satan has a religion... did you know that? In fact, he has many religions out there for people to believe in. You see since salvation can only be found in the Lord Jesus, all the other religions and pathways to heaven are part of Satan's religion. This religion has only one goal. Satan is already judged and he will burn forever in the lake of fire. However, he wants to bring as many people with him as possible. This is very sad but true... Satan goes to hell by Divine decree, but lost men and women go there by choice. You see a person does not have to go to hell. People choose to do so by rejecting God's salvation and eternal life. Lost people do not which to be saved by the Lord Jesus. Instead, the lost want to pay for their sins by themselves. God will honor this and allow lost men to pay for their own sins. However, the price is high and requires eternity in the lake of fire (hell) to pay the price. This is why God became a man and died on the cross. He did it to pay for sin so you and I would not have to pay that impossible price.
Now the choice is left to each individual. Will you accept the Lord Jesus or will you pay for your own sins and perish in hell? What will it be? Will Jesus be your Saviour or will you reject Him and pay for your own sins in hell? Make that choice right now because there is no guarantee for tomorrow!
2 Cor 6
2 (For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the
day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted
time; behold, now is the day of salvation.)
The Bible is very clear. Today (not tomorrow) is the day of salvation! Right now simply tell God you are sorry for your sins and accept the Lord Jesus into your heart as your Lord and Saviour!
Now lets get back to the religion of Satan. What is its foundation.
...it is founded on GOOD WORKS!
Satan wants to lead as many as possible to hell. By convincing lost men that they can merit salvation by GOOD WORKS, Satan can deceive them into believing they are OK without trusting in the Lord Jesus. You see God has made it very clear that salvation is totally apart from any good works that we can do. Salvation is by faith alone! If it were possible to do good works to be saved, then the Lord Jesus would not be needed to come to earth and die for the sins of the world. Instead each man could simply do a few good works and merit salvation. What does the Bible say? Here are some verses that make it very clear that works have no part in salvation:
Ephesians 2
8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of
yourselves: [it is] the gift of God:
9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.
Did verse 9 above sink in as you read it? If not let me repeat myself so it will sink in: Salvation is NOT BY WORKS, NOT BY WORKS, NOT BY WORKS, NOT BY WORKS, NOT BY WORKS, NOT BY WORKS, NOT BY WORKS, NOT BY WORKS, NOT BY WORKS, NOT BY WORKS, NOT BY WORKS, NOT BY WORKS, NOT BY WORKS, NOT BY WORKS, NOT BY WORKS, NOT BY WORKS, NOT BY WORKS
Are we clear yet? Salvation is not be works. Instead it is a free love Gift given by God and received faith. Let's look at another verse:
Titus 3
5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but
according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of
regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;
Again we are told that salvation is not by our works of righteousness that we have done. Salvation is by faith totally apart from works. Let's look at one more verse:
Rom 6
23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life
through Jesus Christ our Lord.

So in conclusion, we can easily see that Satan has works for the foundation of his false hellbound religions. God, however, has faith as the foundation of salvation and eternal life.

Are you deceived in thinking your 'good works' will somehow merit heaven for you when this life is over? Do you really think everything will be fine if you die without the Lord Jesus as your Saviour?
