Retail stores like Wal-mart are introducing RFID chips on their products. RFID chips are coming to cars in the near future. They are also coming to firearms. Once programmed the gun would only fire if the RFID chip accepts the RFID chip implanted in the gun owner. RFID chips will allow retailers to track their inventory by using the signals from the chips on the products and a computer system. They will be used for buying and selling or even identification. Imagine going through a toll booth and not even having to slow down as the booth would sense the RFID chip implanted in your body. Your toll would then be automatically deducted from your bank account.
RFID technology is growing at an alarming rate. Of course the positive aspects are emphasized. People claim that RFID technology will allow for better care of the elderly or even safer streets. The fact that this technology removes all personal privacy and sets up a information gathering system that would make Hitler proud, is never mentioned.
What we are seeing happen is a slow beginning of the coming mark of the beast spoken of in Revelation 13. Read the below verses for an overview of the coming antichrist and his kingdom:
Rev 13
1 And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out
of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten
crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.
2 And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet
were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion:
and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority.
3 And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his
deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast.
4 And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast:
and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast?
who is able to make war with him?
5 And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and
blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and
two months.
6 And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme
his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven.
7 And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to
overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and
tongues, and nations.
8 And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose
names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain
from the foundation of the world.
9 If any man have an ear, let him hear.
10 He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity: he
that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here
is the patience and the faith of the saints.
11 And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and
he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon.
12 And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before
him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to
worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed.
13 And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come
down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men,
14 And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means
of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of
the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they
should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a
sword, and did live.
15 And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast,
that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that
as many as would not worship the image of the beast should
be killed.
16 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor,
free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or
in their foreheads:
17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the
mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
18 Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the
number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his
number is Six hundred threescore and six.
The above verses give a very good description of the coming antichrist and his little helper called the false prophet. Look clearly at verses 16-18 as they give a real good description of the implementation of RFID technology with the mark of the beast.
When will this oppressive cashless society come into being? It will happen after the rapture and midway into the 7 year tribulation period. At that time the antichrist will enter into the rebuilt temple in Jerusalem and claim to be God. This event is called the abomination of desolation. Next the antichrist will demand people bow their knee and worship him. All those who will bow their knee and worship him will be given the mark of the beast. This mark will allow that person to be a part of the antichrist system. The mark of the beast will allow a person to buy or sell and perform economic transactions. Those without the mark will not be able to do any economic transactions. The antichrist will hunt those people down and kill them.
All those who accept the mark of the beast are forever condemned to hell. By accepting the mark of the beast and worshipping him, a person will forever seal their eternal fate in hell. Do not believe Layhaye's Left Behind series that says you can accept the mark of the beast and still not be condemned. This is deception and a great lie from the devil. Here is what the Bible clearly says:

9 And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If
any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in
his forehead, or in his hand,
10 The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is
poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he
shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the
holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:
11 And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever:
and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his
image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.
As you can see anyone who accepts the mark of the beast will seal their eternal fate in hell, the lake of fire. Always remember that in order to receive the mark of the beast, a person must bow their knee and worship the devil and his antichrist.
It is very possible that we are seeing the mark of the beast technology being setup right now with RFID chips and computers. Did you notice the part about the 'syringe-injected microchip implant'? All this technology is being setup now and put in place for the day the antichrist rises to power to make use of it! Remember the mark of the beast cannot be given now. The real mark of the beast will be given after the antichrist commits the abomination of desolation and then demands worship. At that people people will be forced, under the penalty of death, to bow their knee and worship the beast and accept the mark of the beast.
Future events do cast their shadows. Just watch the spread of RFID technology. It is slowly spreading and gaining acceptance. People are also powerless to stop it! For example Wal-mart has demanded all their suppliers convert to using RFID chips on their products. There is also a time deadline Wal-mart gave to their suppliers that states: no business with you after such-and-such a date if you are not using RFID technology. Soon other companies will follow suit and all products will be carrying RFID technology.
The good news is the saved Christian can look up and rejoice as our redemption is drawing very near! The Lord Jesus is coming back very soon to rapture home His people. This event will occur before the antichrist rises to power in his kingdom.
