We are living in the very last days of this age. Soon the Lord Jesus will return to rapture home His people. Also within that time frame, the antichrist will rise to power to rule earth in his Satanic kingdom of antichrist. Right now the attitudes of people have been changed to accept the spirit of the antichrist with all its evil teachings and occultism. The world is very ripe for the setup of the short-lived kingdom of the antichrist:
Psalms 2
1 Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?
2 The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel
together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying,
3 Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords
from us.
4 He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the LORD shall
have them in derision.
5 Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in
his sore displeasure.
In this article we will look at some of the major moves of the spirit of antichrist as the devil prepares to setup his demonic kingdom. This kingdom will not be setup overnight. The people of the world must have their attitudes changed so they will be open and acceptable to the kingdom of the antichrist.
HATRED OF THE JEWS
The devil hates the Jews. Satan has tried to destroy the Jewish
people many times in history. During World War 2 Hitler was used by the
devil in that goal. Hitler tried but was unable to completely wipe out
the Jewish people. Today, many people who reject the Lord have an
irrational dislike of all Jewish people. This is an outworking of the
spirit of the antichrist. During the reign of the antichrist the beast
will enter the rebuilt temple in Jerusalem and proclaim himself to be
God. He will then demand worship. In the Bible this event is known as
the abomination of desolation and it occurs in the middle of the 7 year
kingdom of the antichrist. When this happens, the Jews are commanded
to flee to the mountains as Satan and his antichrist will set their
sights on completely destroying the Jewish people. Obviously they will
not succeed.
Matt 24
15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation,
spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place,
(whoso readeth, let him understand:)
16 Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:
HATES ISRAEL
Satan knows if he can destroy Israel then he has broken Bible prophecy
and God's Word is not true. Just look at the world news reports. Israel
is hated and is always shown in a negative light. Their lying enemies are
always presented as a helpless, innocent, and oppressed people. In the days
ahead the devil and his servants will again try to destroy the nation of
Israel. Of course they will fail as the Lord will not allow that to happen.
WANTS TO REBUILD A TEMPLE IN JERUSALEM
Satan and his people want control of Jerusalem so a temple can be rebuilt.
This temple will be for the antichrist. Of course, before this happens
the Jewish people will restart their temple sacrificial system. However,
in the middle of the 7 year kingdom of antichrist, the antichrist will
enter the rebuilt temple. At that time he will proclaim himself to be God and
demand worship. This event is known as the abomination of desolation. The
mark of the beast will be issued. All those who reject to worship the
devil will be killed. One major prophetic event to watch
for in the news, is anything related to the rebuilding of this temple
in Jerusalem.
ELECTRONIC ECONOMY
Satan wants people to completely accept a electronic economy. The mark of
the beast technology will be electronic and computer based. A computer
chip of some sort will be placed in the forearm or forehead of those who
bow the knee and worship Satan and his antichrist. This mark of the beast
will allow the citizens of the kingdom of antichrist to perform economic
transactions and do day to day business.
Rev 13
16 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and
bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:
17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or
the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
Those without the mark of the beast will be hunted down and killed. Men will be given the choice. Worship Satan and accept the mark of the beast or die! This mark of the beast will be given out in the middle of the 7 year tribulation period when the antichrist commits the abomination of desolation in the rebuild temple. Also, anyone who receives the mark of the beast will be condemned to hell forever. There is no more hope for salvation for anyone who worships Satan and receives the mark of the beast. Look at the following Scriptures:
Rev 14
9 And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If
any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in
his forehead, or in his hand,
10 The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is
poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he
shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the
holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:
11 And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever:
and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his
image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.
HATES CHRISTIANS
Satan, his antichrist, and his followers hates Bible believing Christians.
Christians will never submit or accept the antichrist spirit, system, or
anything of the devil. Therefore, the devil's crowd already hates saved
Christians. After the rapture, at the fifth seal judgment there will be
widespread killing of Christians on earth.
Rev 6
9 And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar
the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for
the testimony which they held:
10 And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord,
holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them
that dwell on the earth?
11 And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was
said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season,
until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should
be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.
HATES GOD
Satan hates God. Satan and his people hate God. Satan even tried to kick God
off His throne and take control. Obviously he failed that foolish task, but
the devil still seeks worship and he still seeks to displace God. One of
the major moves of the antichrist spirit is blasphemy against God, the
Lord Jesus, and Christianity. Just like their daddy, the devil, Satan's
followers hate the Lord.
Daniel 7
25 And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall
wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and
laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times
and the dividing of time.
Daniel 11
36 And the king shall do according to his will; and he shall exalt
himself, and magnify himself above every god, and shall speak
marvellous things against the God of gods, and shall prosper
till the indignation be accomplished: for that that is determined
shall be done.
37 Neither shall he regard the God of his fathers, nor the desire
of women, nor regard any god: for he shall magnify himself above all.
38 But in his estate shall he honour the God of forces: and a god
whom his fathers knew not shall he honour with gold, and silver,
and with precious stones, and pleasant things.
HATE THE BIBLE
Satan hates the Bible which is the Word of God. Over the ages the devil has
tried to repress or pervert the teachings of the Word of God. He has failed
as the Lord has preserved His Word. Today Satan's people are trying to make
the Bible hate literature. The Word of God is offensive to Satan and his crowd.
The sodomites want their immoral lifestyle and sodomite marriages. They know
the Bible condemns their sin as an abomination to the Lord. Therefore they
seek to have the Bible condemned as hate literature. Lost men want to have
full legal rights to sin and commit whatever blasphemy or abomination against
the Lord. The Bible is rejected by the antichrist spirit and is currently
being legalized as hate literature. Laws are being passed and people who
speak out on what the Bible says are in danger of these hate laws. Already
a pastor in Europe has been charged using these Bible hate laws. After the
rapture the Bible will be a burned, forbidden, and illegal book. Christians
will be persecuted, hunted down, and killed. Today we are seeing the
beginning of this major move of the antichrist spirit in that direction.
Right now those who have a sinful unBiblical lifestyle are seeking legal
protection by getting laws passed that condemn the Bible. After the antichrist
rises to power, those laws will be greatly strengthened and people will
start to die for their faith in the Lord Jesus. In the spirit of tolerance,
all sin and evil is acceptable. The "tolerant" are very intolerant to those
who do not accept sin and evil. Open hatred and persecution is coming!
ROCK AND ROLL MUSIC
The antichrist spirit loves rock and roll music. This will be the music
of the kingdom of the antichrist. Satan is a musical creature and was created
with musical pipes in his body. Through rock music millions are being led
into the worship of the devil. When rock music makes it into a church
assembly that church quickly falls away from sound doctrine and goes liberal.
All liberal doctrine rejecting church assemblies have accepted
rock and roll music. All churches that have remained faithful to the Lord
in love and obedience want nothing to do with Satan's rock music. Rock music
is the norm in apostate Christianity and in the world of secular lost people.
The fruit of this demonic music has always remained the same: rebellion, drugs,
sexual immorality, the occult, and blasphemy.
THE OCCULT
The antichrist spirit loves the occult. Satan loves the fact that
Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, and all the occult toys, games, and
movies are popular and accepted. The coming kingdom of the antichrist
will be occult based. Today the occult is being accepted worldwide
in preparation for the coming kingdom of the antichrist. All lost
people and the Satanic false Christian tares from within the Church
are accepting the world of the occult. Expect the love of the occult
to grow in the days ahead.
ECUMENICAL MOVEMENT
The antichrist spirit loves the ecumenical movement. This movement
seeks to unite all false religions into one big one with Satan at
the head. The Antichrist's goal is to form a one world church which
will ultimately turn to worship Satan as God. Small advances in
unity have been occurring in the last 100 years. Many groups and
religions are re-uniting with the false religion of Romanism. Current
efforts are Promise Keepers and the Alpha Course. As the kingdom of
the antichrist nears, watch for more religions to unite in doctrine
and dialog. The end result is a one-world religion under the false
prophet and antichrist.
SEXUAL IMMORALITY
The antichrist spirit loves sexual immorality in all its forms.
Fornication, adultery, sodomy, and many other sexual perversions
are all encouraged by the devil. Once the kingdom of the antichrist
is setup there will be no Biblical morals at all. People will do
whatever they wish to whatever or whomsoever with no regard to
God's moral laws. Today we are seeing peoples attitudes change
in the areas of morality. To many, adultery is not considered
evil but just something most people do. Living together is
common place among the lost and perishing. Sodomy and same-sex
marriage is on the legal books and is protected by the hate the
Bible laws. Expect an increase in the love and practice of
sexual immorality in all its forms. The world is not becoming
a better place. Instead the lost of this world are racing
headlong into the days of Divine Judgment! Their sin, rebellion,
mockery, and rejection of the Lord will not last forever!
Judgment is coming!
DRUGS AND ALCOHOL
The antichrist spirit loves drug and alcohol usage. These things
damage the body, spreads disease, blinds the eyes to spiritual
truth, increases violence and immorality, and keeps people away
from saving faith in the Lord Jesus. People lose their inhibitions
and feel more free to sin while under the influence. This is what
the devil wants. Satan wants people to go deeper into sin and the
occult. The closer a lost soul gets to the devil, the more blinded
his eyes become to the salvation offered by the Lord Jesus! Drugs
and alcohol will continue in use during the reign of the antichrist
after the rapture. Today it is a major factor in helping blind
the eyes of the lost. With all the prophecies coming to pass and
all the judgments of God about to happen, Satan loves to keep
up the use of drugs and alcohol to keep the lost souls spiritually
blinded!
GREED
The antichrist spirit is greedy. Sinful people are obsessed
with earthly things and obtaining earthly wealth. They have no
interest in the things of God so all their attention is focused on
the here and now. They seek the riches, treasures, and toys of this
world with all their hearts. The love of money actually becomes
a god to people who have rejected the God of the Bible.
SELF-CENTERED
The antichrist spirit is self-centered. The focus is on
looking out for number one and not caring about the affects
sin has on others. Look at the child molester. Does he worry
that his sinful actions will harm and scar the child he
abuses. Of course not. He is obsessed with his own selfish
personal pleasure and does not care who else gets hurt. The
same with the thief. Does he care how the person he steals
from will hurt? Of course not! The thief just wants more
earthly wealth for himself!
There are many other qualities of the antichrist spirit that is growing in this world. Below is a verse that pretty well sums it all up:
2 Tim 3
1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters,
proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers,
incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than
lovers of God;
5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof:
from such turn away.
As you can see, men will be self-centered greedy pleasure seekers in the last days. They will literally despise and hate the things and people of God. We are in those days now!
The good news is that God is aware of all this. Nothing has taken the Lord by surprise! A time of judgment has been set by the Lord and that day is quickly coming.
Acts 17
31 Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will
judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath
ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in
that he hath raised him from the dead.
Yes there is a time alloted for the antichrist to rise to power and to setup his demonic kingdom. But there is also a time of judgment and the antichrist and his followers will not prosper. They will suffer and be tormented by the mighty judgments of God that will fall upon the entire earth!
