I write about this because I believe the devil is trying to get the occult packaged and acceptable from within the professing Christian churches. Satan has been very successful in his past endevours. Rock and roll both secular and religious is widely accepted within many professing Christian churches. Other churches have accepted all kinds of Charismatic foolishness with their members blindly seeing experiences, visions, and barking on the floor like dogs. Others are dropping doctrine and uniting with false works based religions like Catholicism and Mormonism.
Next, I believe there to be a movement to gain acceptablity of the occult from within the professing Christian churches. Spells, witchcraft, and dark secrets are packaged into something cute and presentable and then presented as fun and harmless entertainment. Of course the whole Harry Potter movement fits the description of such a deception. Others authors, like C.S. Lewis also wrote some occult fiction that is acceptable to many. One of the latest movies out is Lord's of the Rings. Again a very occultic movie with the ways of the devil packaged for maximum entertainment value. It is sad, but I am aware of professing Christians who have no problem in enjoying the occult in either book or movie form.
What does the Bible say about all this?
1 Cor 10
20 But I [say], that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice,
they sacrifice to devils, and not to God: and I would not that
ye should have fellowship with devils.
21 Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils:
ye cannot be partakers of the Lord's table, and of the table
of devils.
Here are some things to think about.
- Would it be acceptable for a person to take part and enjoy a satanic ritual of some sort? Could a person conjure up a demon and drink blood with satanists? Would that be acceptable before God and man?
Could such a occult loving person attend a Bible believing church and call himself a loving Christian?
Would it be unloving and judgmental to point out the fact that something is wrong here? Would such a person be some kind of a legalist who would dare to say such a thing is wrong?
Then what about Harry Potter and the blatent evil and satanic occultism? Is it now acceptable for some to enjoy Satan and his occultism, witchcraft, and spellcasting? Is the occult harmless entertainment for Christian parents and their children?
Should a Christian who is supposed to be saved and walking with the Lord partake in the devil's occultism? Is Harry Potter a good form of entertainment even though it is filled with the occult in all its forms? Spellcasting, witchcraft, cursing, divination are all part of the world of Harry Potter-ism. Does it make sense for a person who claims to love God to partake in something that is an abomination to God?
Here is God's attitude to the occult:
Deut 18
10 There shall not be found among you [any one] that maketh his
son or his daughter to pass through the fire, [or] that useth
divination, [or] an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch,
11 Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a
wizard, or a necromancer.
12 For all that do these things [are] an abomination unto the
LORD: and because of these abominations the LORD thy God doth
drive them out from before thee.
Do you think God has changed His mind and is now accepting the occult? Are the above warnings only for those in Old Testament days? Would God somehow hate the occult in the Old Testament and accept it as harmless entertainment for His people in the New Testament?
In case you are wondering... the answer is NO! The occult is an abomination to God. It is evil and all of it belongs to Satan. God commands His people to stay far away from it.
This means no Harry Potter! It means destroying any occult movies and objects you may have in your homes from astrology to the devil worshipping rock and rollers. It also means obedience to the Lord. If you love the Lord then you obey Him.

Do you really think you can call yourself a Christian and enjoy the occult at the same time? The occult is an abomination to God. If you truly love the Lord you will totally reject all of it. If not, you are showing to all that you really do not love God.
THIS IS A FACT - HELLBOUND LOST SINNER!
If you have attended the Potter movie and enjoy the occult, or allowed your children to attend knowing the movie is occultic. Or if you or your children have read the satanic Potter books and enjoy the occult, spells, and witchcraft. Then know this: YOU ARE NOT SAVED! YOU ARE NOT A CHRISTIAN! I'm sorry but your antichrist fruit is showing. Don't come around claiming that you are a loving, obedient Christian while loving and enjoying Satan's occult. You are self deceived and by accepting and enjoying the occult you are showing your lost condition and you allegiance to the devil.
Potter with all his satanism is an abomination to God. If you or any family members have enjoyed partaking the Satanic occultism, of Harry Potter (or others), then your unsaved colors are showing!
You are a God rejecting, hellbound sinner. It is as simple as that. It doesn't matter if you attend some kind of a church. You are lost and perishing. Just one heartbeat from hell would be a good description of your life right now! Don't be deceived and think that you can eat from the occultic table of the devil and still be a Christian. Let me remind you of what the Bible says:

MAKE YOUR CHOICE... AND DO IT NOW!
Matt 12
30 He that is not with me is against me; and he that gathereth not
with me scattereth abroad.
Quite simply you either belong to the Lord Jesus or the devil. You are either on the Lord's side or you are on the side of the devil. By loving, defending, and accepting the occult you are showing that you are on the devil's side.
HERE IS A FENCE... WHICH SIDE ARE YOU ON?
Look below and there are two sides of a fence. One side is the devil's side and the other is the Lord's. Which side are you on?
SIDE 1 The Hell side
- I like Harry Potter and the occult as well as other forms of occultic
entertainment.
- I think it is all harmeless fun. There is nothing wrong with witchcraft,
divination, and spellcasting. I enjoy these things in movies, books,
and games.
- Who are you to judge me! I'm a Christian! I go to church!
- I hate this tract and what you have written! It makes me very angry!
- I will continue doing what I wish and no judgmental,
legalistic, narrowminded, Bible thumping, fundamentalist
will stop me!

SIDE 2 The Heaven side
- I want nothing to do with Satan and his occult
- I reject Harry Potter and the other forms of occultic
entertainment available today
- I will destroy such items from my house
- I choose to obey and draw close to the Lord
- I love the Lord and seek to please and obey Him!
Again... which side of the fence are you on? Are you on the devil's hell side? Or are you on the heaven and God's side?
HOUSE CLEANING ANYONE?
Should you decide to choose the Lord and reject the devil then you may have some house cleaning to do. If you really love the Lord then clean out your house from all the evil things of the devil. Get together all the Harry Potter books, all evil games (ouji boards etc), computer games (diablo etc), and Satanic rock music. Then destroy all this material. Do not sell it so someone else can be oppressed by the devil. Destroy all the things of the devil that is found in your homes. Below is a New Testament example of people who did some house cleaning!
Acts 19
18 And many that believed came, and confessed, and shewed
their deeds.
19 Many of them also which used curious arts brought their
books together, and burned them before all men: and they
counted the price of them, and found it fifty thousand
pieces of silver.
20 So mightily grew the word of God and prevailed.
CONCLUSION
In this tract several points were made:
- The occult is an abomination to God
- It is not harmless fun to be enjoyed in books, movies, or
games by those who profess to know the Lord Jesus.
- The occult is to be rejected
- Homes are to be purged from all occultic objects
- For people who reject this warning and plan to continue
with their occultic "fun", their spiritual condition is very
obvious. They are not saved nor were they ever saved. They love the
devil and his pleasures and have no heart for the Lord, obedience,
or turning away from evil.
Here is a good description of these occultic, Satan loving false Christian tares right out of the book of Jude:

10 But these speak evil of those things which they know not:
but what they know naturally, as brute beasts, in those things
they corrupt themselves.
11 Woe unto them! for they have gone in the way of Cain, and ran
greedily after the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in

Jude
16 These are murmurers, complainers, walking after their own lusts;
and their mouth speaketh great swelling words, having men's persons
in admiration because of advantage.

the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ;
18 How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time,
who should walk after their own ungodly lusts.
19 These be they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit.

praying in the Holy Ghost,

Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.

even the garment spotted by the flesh.
24 Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present
you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy,
25 To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion
