THE CHOICE IS MADE AND NOW IT'S TOO LATE TO BE SAVED!

By Alan Yusko (2009)

In this world the Gospel is preached and God gives time for a person to be saved. Some people hear the saving Gospel of the Lord Jesus again and again. Each time they reject the Gospel there is a hardening of their heart. At some point the heart is so hard that they will never be saved. We do not know when that time is reached but God does. When a person chooses not to be saved, God then gives up on that person and allows him to be given over to sin. At that point Satan can do with him as he pleases since God is done with that person. Such a person cannot be saved as they have hardened their heart and will never respond.

Once the choice has been made and God has determined the person's heart is too hard to be saved, then that person is forever lost even though he still lives on earth. In this article we will explore what the Bible says about this truth. It is very dangerous to hear the Gospel of the Lord Jesus and understand it, and then to reject it! Each time a person hears the Gospel, it could be the last call to salvation for that person.

We live in very prophetic days. Today we are hearing in the news about the one world government and one world economic system. How close the rapture must be when we can see the rise of the antichrist and his kingdom coming so quickly. As we will see, the rapture is a major turning point for people who have heard and rejected the Gospel.

We will start by looking at those who reject salvation before the rapture of the church. We are living in those days now. After the rapture occurs, all those who have understood and rejected the Gospel will be totally and completely deceived. These people cannot be saved once the rapture occurs.

Now we are living in the immediate days before the Lord Jesus returns to rapture home His church. This prophetic event could occur at any time. There is nothing that must happen prophetically for the rapture to happen. The rapture is a sudden event and no man knows the day or the hour. We can sense the nearness of the rapture only because we can see all the very last days prophecies lining up and getting ready to be fulfilled. Today, people who hear the Gospel must make a choice to receive or to reject the Lord Jesus.

CHOICE BEFORE THE RAPTURE

Soon the Lord Jesus will return to rapture home His blood bought Church. The saved are people who have trusted in the Lord Jesus alone for salvation. During this time the Gospel is proclaimed widely throughout the world. Many have heard the Gospel and some have accepted the Lord Jesus as their Saviour. Others have heard the Gospel but rejected the Lord Jesus again and again and do not want to hear the Gospel anymore. They have hardened their hearts to the truth of salvation found only in the Lord Jesus.

Below are some Scriptures related to those who have heard and rejected the Gospel in these days before the rapture. We will be looking into the book of Romans.

Rom 1
18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;

In this verse we see that judgment is coming in God's time. Christians have been warning about the soon return of the Lord Jesus and the coming Divine judgment. Many people of this world have chosen not to listen to this warning. But judgment is still coming no matter if people believe it is or not.

19 Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.

A person who does not believe in God is without excuse. God has left many examples of his existence if people would only look around. The problem is that many are willingly ignorant because they do not want to acknowledge the existence of God. You see once a person believes in the existence of God then the issue of accountability to a Holy God becomes very real. This is why the lies of evolution is so popular. It allows lost people to believe a lie and deny the existence of God to whom they are accountable.

The next verse continues:

20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:

One way God has revealed Himself is through the creation of the heavens and the earth. The lie of evolution is denies the existence and the creation of God. Yet those who are without excuse still choose to believe in it because they refuse to acknowledge God.

In this verse God says His creation can be clearly seen by all the things that He made. God also says that men and women are without excuse as this evidence is so clear. Only those who do not want to see the truth will allow their eyes to be blinded to God's creation of the heavens and the earth.

The fact that God says they are without excuse in this verse means trouble for those who are willingly ignorant. These people are rejecting God and salvation and they are very accountable for this choice. They are without excuse when they stand before Him in judgment.

21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.

Here God describes the process of how a person blinds himself to God's existence. The end result is their foolish heart is darkened and they are blinded to the truth. Such a person also becomes proud or vain in their thoughts. This is a good description of the evolutionist and the atheist.

God continues...

22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,

These lost people who have rejected God become vain (proud) and blinded. Through their pride they actually claim to be wise when in reality they are fools. Such people may consider themselves "educated" as they deny God and His creation. God says they are nothing more than fools. In today's lingo, that would include fools with university degrees.

23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.

This verse describes people who reject the living God and in His place substitute some kind of idol to worship. In the world some worship the earth, some make statues and worship them, and some worship the sun or the moon. The end result is to worship the creation rather worshipping the creator. Today there is a very popular form of creation worship called the green movement. These people worship "mother" earth. They talk foolishly about carbon footprints and reducing the world's population.

This is also a description of the many religious for lost people to believe in. There are all kinds of people in cults and false religions who have rejected salvation only found in the Lord Jesus. In His place they believe the lies of false religion with all their hearts. Other religious but lost people actually attend a church that calls itself "Christian". In these last days there are all kinds of apostate Christian churches with lost hellbound pastors in the pulpit. In these churches there is rock music, perverted Bibles (rejection of the KJV Bible), and enjoyment of Satan's occult world via Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, and Narnia. Lost people who reject Biblical truth prove they also reject the Lord Jesus by attending one of these apostate churches.

To all these people who reject true salvation found only in the Lord Jesus, God gives up on them as we see in the next verse.

24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:

This is a terrible verse. There comes a point in time when God gives up on a person. Such a person has hardened their heart by rejecting the Lord again and again. At some point their heart is so hard that God gives up on them because He knows they will never be saved.

Once God gives up on a person, He also allows them to be given over to their sin. This verse describes how they are given over to uncleanness and lust therefore they sin and love it. These people sin in their bodies through immoral sex acts as well. They have been given up by God and as a result, they are given over to their sinful lusts.

25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.

Here God is repeating what He mentioned before. Since a lost person does not want the true God, he will worship a false god of his choice. This person will worship the creation rather than God who created all things.

26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:

As God gives up on a person for salvation, He gives a person over to sin. That person then gets vile sinful affections. These people do all kinds of immoral sexual acts including sodomy.

27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.

Lost men also are given over to gross and vile sin. They too get into sodomy as well. Here God mentions there is recompence (or a reward) for immoral sexual behavior.

28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;

A lost person chooses not to retain God in their knowledge. This happens after they have fully rejected the Gospel. At this point God gives up on them and they are given over to a reprobate and godless mind that loves and justifies evil things.

Next is a list of the sins that lost people love who have a reprobate mind:

29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,

Notice that the reprobate mind is filled with ALL... and the list of sins starts. Near the top of the list is fornication which is sinning with their own body. This verse gives 11 sins that a reprobate loves and the list continues in the next verse:

30 Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,

Here we see the list of sins and notice that people develop a hatred for God. I have seen people who have heard the Gospel of the Lord Jesus again and again. Years later after they have totally rejected the Gospel, there is a hatred for God and a hatred for God's saved people as well.

The list of sins continues in the next verse:

31 Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:

God finishes off the list here. It is interesting that God mentions that they are without understanding while they believe they are wise and quite knowledgeable. In verse 22 the lost person professes to be wise when they are fools. Here they shown to be fools who do not have any understanding from God's point of view.

32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

Deep down in the heart of every person there is a knowledge of a day of coming judgment. God will one day judge the earth and one day everyone will stand before God in judgment.

Yet a wicked lost person who has been given over to sin doesn't care about judgment at this time. Instead they seek converts to become as reprobate as they are. These lost people enjoy and take pride in their sin and rebellion against God with others of like mind. Lost people live for the sinful pleasures of today and think nothing of their coming eternal judgment.

REVIEW of what we covered so far:

To this point we are looking at the Gospel of the Lord Jesus being presented to a lost world before the rapture of the Church. When a person hears the Gospel they must choose to receive or reject the Lord Jesus. Some people will receive the Lord Jesus as their Saviour and be saved.

Others hear the Gospel and reject it. They hear it again and again but still reject the Lord Jesus. At some point of continuing to reject the Gospel, their heart becomes so hard that they will never respond to be saved. Only God knows when this time will be for a person. At that point God gives up on that person knowing they will never be saved and their eternal choice has been made. Once God gives up on a person He gives them over to sin and they develop a sin loving reprobate mind.

One of the things that happen is that person will worship some kind of false god that accepts their sinful lifestyle. This person will develop a hatred for the true God and a hatred for God's people as well.

Sadly, but I have seen people who have heard the Gospel again and again. Over the years they develop a hatred for the true God and the Gospel. These people also hate and reject God's people as well. I have seen friends separate from friends because of the rejection of the Gospel. I have seen family members separate because of rejection of the Gospel. I believe when God gives up on a person, then the devil takes over. Satan does not want that person hearing the Gospel anymore, so he leads him/her into deception and sin. In that deception the person separates himself from the Gospel and any nearby Christians.

Next we will look at what happens after the rapture of the Church. God has special plans for all those who have heard the Gospel, understood it, and rejected it. The sad thing is that the rapture could happen today. There is no prophetic event that must occur before the rapture of the church. We do know that the rapture is going to be very soon because of all the Bible prophecy that has already come to pass. Right now in the news there are talks about a one world economic system and a one world government! There are all kinds of wars and rumors of wars and even peace talks. It looks like Satan is getting ready to setup his antichrist and the antichrist kingdom. What the rapture will do is to allow the one world leader, the antichrist, to rise to power.

However, for those who have heard and rejected the Gospel, something terrible will happen to them. But these lost people will not understand or care! Lets now look at what happens on earth after the Lord Jesus returns and raptures home His Church of believers.

THE GREAT DECEPTION SENT BY GOD HIMSELF AFTER THE RAPTURE

After the rapture of the Church, God will send a great deception on the earth. Lets look closely at the verses that describe this deception. We will be looking in 2 Thessalonians chapter 2.

2 Thess 2
6 And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time.

This is talking about God who is currently restraining evil and Satan from bringing his antichrist to power. God is working through His Holy Spirit in the lives of each born again believer. The work of the Holy Spirit in the Church is the restraint that is holding back Satan and his antichrist. Satan is currently under restraint so he cannot, bring to pass his kingdom of the antichrist or bring the antichrist to power.

7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.

This verse describes the fact that the devil and sin is currently working. However there is still that restraint that is holding back evil. At the rapture the restraint will be removed and there will no longer be any restraint for Satan and his evil plans. The antichrist will rise to power and Satan will be allowed to do all kinds of evil and deceptive works that he is currently restrained from doing today.

Right now we live in days of growing apostasy. There are many falling away and showing to all they were never saved by their love of sin, rebellion, and false teaching. There is also a massive falling away in professing Christian churches. These apostate churches have rejected the KJV Bible and have accepted perverted translations that mangle the Word of God. They also use Satan's rock music and enjoy Satan's occult entertainment of Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, and Narnia. Even though the Holy Spirit is restraining evil by indwelling his blood bought saved Christians, the apostasy is still growing. However, after the rapture, the restraint on evil is removed and Satan's evil will go unrestrained.

Remember the restrainer is the Holy Spirit working in and through the lives of born again believers. At the rapture all saved Christians are removed from planet earth and the restraining power of the Holy Spirit is removed with the believers. The Holy Spirit will still be present as He is God and He is omnipresent. However, the church will be in heaven and the restraint on evil will be removed.

8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:

After the restraining power of the Holy Spirit working in and through the Church is removed, this verse says the antichrist (that Wicked) will be revealed. Satan is no longer being restrained and he is free to setup his world government with the antichrist as its leader. This verse also mentions that the antichrist will be destroyed when the Lord Jesus returns to earth at the battle of Armageddon. This happens at the end of the 7 year tribulation period or 70th week of Daniel's prophecy.

9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,

This verse is another mention of the rise of the antichrist who will rise to power with the blessing and deception of Satan himself. During that time of no restraint on evil, there will be all kinds of deceptive signs and lying wonders. Satan will deceive people by miracles and amazing wonders.

10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

Now we are getting to the topic of this article. This verse describes all the lost people who have rejected the Gospel. They will be completely deceived. This verse indicates that they have already made their choice not to be saved. This means they are going to perish forever in the lake of fire. This verse also indicates that these people heard the truth of the saving Gospel of the Lord Jesus but they received it not. They rejected the Gospel and made their choice not to be saved.

Satan will be using massive deception on lost people to keep them blinded so they will never be saved.

In the next verse God will be doing something to these lost people as well.

11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:

God personally is going to send a strong delusion and everyone who heard the Gospel and rejected it will believe this delusion. They will believe lies since they rejected the truth of the saving Gospel when it was presented to them.

A good question is this: What is the great delusion that God will send so the lost will believe a lie. No where in the Bible does God tell us specifically what that big deception will be. We do know it is very strong and ALL lost people will believe in it. Beyond that there are only guesses as to what this deception could be. Demons have presented themselves to people in the occult as alien space brothers. Perhaps the whole science fiction thing with UFO aliens from other worlds, federation of planets etc. will be used. Demons will be able to manifest themselves to be seen be humans in those days of deception. Perhaps the whole UFO thing is a part of the great deception. Other possibilities are supposed evidence of life on other worlds. At any rate, lost people will have all the false scientific "proof" needed to totally reject the Bible so they can start killing Christian believers in those days. This verse says when God sends the delusion, all the lost people will believe it.

The next verse answers the question WHY would God send them a strong delusion so these lost people would believe lies?

12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

God holds people accountable to the Gospel. It is not a light thing to hear the Gospel of the Lord Jesus and reject it. These people heard the Gospel and hardened their heart by rejection of the truth. Their heart became so hard that they could never be saved so God gave up on them and gave them over to their sin. We covered all this in the last section in Romans chapter 1.

Since these lost people rejected the truth God has given them a great delusion to believe in. They will believe lies since they rejected the truth. And here is the reason why. The purpose of sending the great delusion is so these lost people will believe in lies right up until they forever perish in hell. God says they will be damned in the lake of fire since they rejected the truth. God gives the lost lies to believe in with the great delusion so they will be blinded until the day of their death when they perish forever in hell.

The great delusion is a judgment upon lost people who heard the Gospel and rejected it. People who hear the Gospel and reject salvation become God's enemy.

REVIEW to this point.

We have seen that a person is very accountable when he hears the saving Gospel of the Lord Jesus. At some point in rejecting the Gospel it is too late and God knows that person will never be saved. God then gives up on that person and gives him over to sin.

After the rapture of the Church God has special plans for all people who have heard the Gospel and rejected it. God will send a strong delusion for these people to believe in. They will all believe in lies since they rejected the truth. God will give them lies to believe in until their lives are over and they perish forever in the lake of fire. This in itself is a great judgment of God.

Do you really understand what this means? If you have heard the saving Gospel of the Lord Jesus and rejected it, after the rapture it is too late for you. Your choice has been made. You heard the truth and rejected that truth. God will send a strong delusion and you will believe in lies since you rejected the truth. You have made your choice and you will perish forever in the lake of fire for rejecting God's salvation.

This means the day of salvation is now. The rapture is coming very soon and tomorrow it could be too late for you. It is time to repent of your sins and accept the Lord Jesus as your only Lord and Saviour. After the rapture it will be too late for you to be saved if you have heard and rejected the Gospel.

MANY WILL BE SAVED AFTER THE RAPTURE

Will people be saved after the rapture? This is a common question and the answer is YES.

The only people who will be saved after the rapture are people who have not heard and understood the Gospel. God will allow every person on earth a chance to make a choice about salvation. After the rapture, there will be many, many people saved. However, salvation is only for those people who did not hear, understand, and reject the Gospel before the rapture.

Next we will look at several verses in the Book of Revelation that show that there will be many saved after the rapture. These people are those who have not heard, understood, and rejected the Gospel. They will be given a chance to choose to accept or reject the Lord Jesus too.

Revelation chapter 7 describes a great multitude of saved people:

Rev 7
9 After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands;

This verse shows a great multitude of people around the throne of God. The number of them is great. This verse says it is a great multitude that no man can number from all nations of the world. As you can see there will be many saved after the rapture and during the 7 year tribulation period. The description of these people continues...

10 And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb.
11 And all the angels stood round about the throne, and about the elders and the four beasts, and fell before the throne on their faces, and worshipped God,
12 Saying, Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honour, and power, and might, be unto our God for ever and ever. Amen.
13 And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they?

Here a question is asked about this great multitude around the throne of God. The question is who are they and where did they come from. Next, we have the answer to this question:

14 And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.
15 Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple: and he that sitteth on the throne shall dwell among them.

The great multitude of people that no man can number are saved people that came out of the great tribulation. This is the time period after the rapture and before the return of the Lord Jesus at the battle of Armageddon.

Therefore, people will still be saved after the rapture. But these will be people who have not heard or understood the saving Gospel of the Lord Jesus and rejected it. These people will hear the Gospel and accept the Lord Jesus as their Saviour AFTER the rapture of the church. Remember, all those who heard the Gospel before the rapture and rejected it will be deceived by the great delusion and they cannot ever be saved. Their choice is made and their eternal fate in hell is sealed.

The good news is that there will still be multitudes of people saved after the rapture of the church. These people will hear and understand the Gospel and accept the Lord Jesus as their Lord and Saviour.

The sin of rejecting the Gospel is great. We will now look at what God says about those who have rejected the truth of the Gospel. These verses give understanding to the great sin of rejecting the Lord Jesus.

THE LOST HAVE CHOSEN DARKNEWS AND REJECTED THE LIGHT

God deals very severely with a person who hears and rejects the saving Gospel of the Lord Jesus. It is not a light thing to hear the Gospel again and again and to reject it each time. Each time the Gospel is rejected a hardening of the heart occurs. As we have covered, there comes a time when God allows a hardening of the heart to the point where that person will never be saved.

In these next verses we will see the attitude of the heart of a person who has heard and rejected the Gospel from God's point of view. These are very common verses found in John chapter 3.

John 3
16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

John 3:16 is a verse loved and memorized by many. It may very will be one of the most popular verses in the Bible. In this verse we see how a person may be saved. This verse says that all who believe (trust in) the Lord Jesus will not perish but instead have everlasting life. This means a person can be eternally saved by trusting in the Lord Jesus as their Saviour.

17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

This verse describes the purpose of why the Lord Jesus came into the world. He came to die and to provide salvation for lost hellbound sinners who are willing to trust and accept the Lord Jesus as their Lord and Saviour.

18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

Everyone who believes (trusts) in the Lord Jesus is not condemned. However, here we see those who have rejected salvation. It says that right now they are condemned already because they did not believe (trust in) the Lord Jesus Christ who is the only Saviour of lost souls.

19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.

This verse describes their great condemnation. Light came into the world. This means salvation through the Lord Jesus who died on the cross to save the lost. He paid the penalty for sin and offers salvation to all who will trust in and believe in Him as their Lord and Saviour. Next this verse shows the attitude of the heart of lost people. They rejected the Light and they rejected the Lord Jesus and salvation.

Here is why they rejected salvation only found in the Lord Jesus:

1) They loved darkness... This means they loved their sin and rejected the light because of it

2) Their sinful evil deeds were evil and they loved living in sin and didn't want to stop.

Lost people love the darkness of sinful and evil deeds and do not want to turn (repent) and be saved. They reject the Light and salvation because they love sin and evil. This is why it is such a great crime before the Lord to hear, understand, and reject the saving Gospel of the Lord Jesus.

Did you ever hear the foolish statement: "I want to go to hell because that is where all my friends will be". These words are spoken from the heart of a salvation rejecting, sin loving lost person who hates the light and loves darkness.

Next we see another attitude of the heart of a lost person.

20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.

The lost person loves doing evil and sinful acts and actually hates the light (the Lord Jesus). They do not want to come to the light to be saved because they love their evil deeds.

This hatred of the light can be seen by all those who have attacked and even killed Christians for their faith over the years. All this reaches its maximum during the 7 year tribulation period. This is when the antichrist and all his lost followers start killing Christians world-wide. These people hate the light and want to kill anyone saved by the Lord Jesus.

Remember we covered the multitude around the throne of God who came out of the great tribulation that no man can number in Rev 7:9-15? These are all the people who were killed for their faith by the antichrist and his lost followers. The lost kill and hate because they hate the light as this verse says.

CONCLUSION

In this article we have seen how serious it is for a person to hear, understand, and to reject the saving Gospel of the Lord Jesus. Each time a person hears and rejects, his heart gets a little bit harder. At some point God knows that person has hardened his heart where he will never be saved. Next, God gives up on that person and gives him over to his sin. Since the person rejected the truth of the Gospel, Satan gives the lost person all kinds of lies to believe in.

We covered why a person rejects salvation in the Lord Jesus. The Bible says they love darkness and sin and do not want the light of salvation. Over time these people grow to hate the Gospel, the Lord Jesus, and Christians.

We also covered what will happen after the rapture of the church to all those people who have heard and rejected the Gospel. God will send them a strong delusion or lie to believe in. They rejected the truth so God sends them a great deception so they will believe in lies right to the time they die and perish forever in hell, the lake of fire.

We also saw that after the rapture, the only people who will be saved will be those who have not heard and rejected the Gospel. The majority of these people will be killed for their faith. The book of Revelation records a great multitude of people who came out of the great tribulation. These are those people who get saved after the rapture of the church.

Finally, here is a short presentation of the Gospel. At the end, there is a prayer to accept the Lord Jesus as your Lord and Saviour. Today is the day to be saved. Tomorrow may be too late for you! Have a look at the below and I encourage you to repent of your sins and accept salvation only found in the Lord Jesus.

Lord Jesus, I admit that I am a sinner and I ask You to come into my life to forgive and save me. I turn from and repent of my sins. I now receive You as my Saviour (trusting in You ALONE to save me) and my Lord (making You my Master and committing my life to You). Please come into my heart and save me Lord Jesus. Amen

ASSURANCE

John 20
31 But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.

I hope you have prayed the above sinners prayer with all sincerity of heart. Time is running out and the Lord Jesus is coming back very soon. Today, not tomorrow is the day of salvation. It is time to make your eternal decision right now!

Joshua 24
15 And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.
