Here we are in the time right before the return of the Lord Jesus to rapture home His Church to heaven. In the world Christianity has been rejected. Governments are banning the Bible while opening the doors for witchcraft and the occult. Schools long ago have rejected God, Prayer, and His Word. We are also in great days of apostasy where many who have professed to be Christian are falling away from the Christian faith showing in reality, that they never were saved in the first place!
We are living in terrible days as the world is moving slowly and very surely toward the implementation of the kingdom of the antichrist. The stage is now set and the only thing holding back the antichrist from rising to power is God's restraint.
In light of all this, how many are watching for the return of the Lord Jesus? How many look forward to the day of the rapture in hope and expectation? How many are eagerly watching and waiting for the Lord Jesus? Here are several verses from the Bible related to that topic:
22 For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now.
23 And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.
1 Cor 1
7 So that ye come behind in no gift; waiting for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ:
20 For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ:
42 Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.
43 But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up.
13 Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.
32 But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father.
33 Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is.
34 For the Son of Man is as a man taking a far journey, who left his house, and gave authority to his servants, and to every man his work, and commanded the porter to watch.
35 Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning:
36 Lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping.
37 And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch.
37 Blessed are those servants, whom the lord when he cometh shall find watching: verily I say unto you, that he shall gird himself, and make them to sit down to meat, and will come forth and serve them.
38 And if he shall come in the second watch, or come in the third watch, and find them so, blessed are those servants.
39 And this know, that if the goodman of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched, and not have suffered his house to be broken through.
40 Be ye therefore ready also: for the Son of man cometh at an hour when ye think not.
34 And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares.
35 For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.
36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.
6 Therefore let us not sleep, as [do] others; but let us watch and be sober.
1 Pet 4
7 But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer.
20 He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.
Are you saved and ready for the return of the Lord Jesus? Are you watching each and every day?
