We are truly in the last days before the return of the Lord Jesus. Lost people are rejecting anything to do with God or His Word while accepting all forms of the occult and immorality. Even within Christianity the tares are separating from the wheat. There was a time when one could not tell the difference from a tare and wheat! The false believers, on the outside, looked and acted like the true believers. As a result the wheat and tares grew together and were very hard to tell apart! However, today we are in the days before the return of the Lord Jesus. There is a great falling and rejection of the things of God. In this tract we will be looking at the fact that a separation has occurred. The tares have separated from the wheat. The false believers have separated from the true believers.
Lets start this tract with some definitions:
WHEAT: This person is truly saved and born again. This person is a true believer with the Lord Jesus as His Saviour
TARE: This person claims to be a Christian. They look like a Christian and sometimes they act like a Christian. Tares go to Christian churches and some rise in leadership to be deacons, elders, and pastors. These people have never been born again and do not belong to the Lord Jesus! But the tare claims to be a Christian and would get very angry if told otherwise.
Twenty or thirty years ago it was very hard to tell the difference from the wheat and the tares. This is not the case today! There is a huge difference between the tares and the wheat. The great harvest is coming and both the wheat and tares are in bloom. The tares can be easily seen because they belong to the devil and they like the same things he does. The wheat belong to the Lord Jesus and they like the same things He does. This makes quite a difference between the wheat and the tares!
In this tract we will look at some of the differences between the wheat and the tares. We will see that the separation between the wheat and the tares has occurred and the gap will continue to get wider right up until the rapture and the end of the age.
As I look back over the years, I have come in contact with many people in my walk with the Lord. I'm sure that is true with many reading this article. The question is this: OF those people, how many are wheat and how many are tares? What are the tares doing today and what are the wheat doing today? Can you look back over the last 10 or 20 years of walking with the Lord? How many people are still walking with the Lord today? How many are now openly following Satan and doing the things the devil approves of? Remember a person does not have to drink blood and dress in black to follow the devil. Today the tare can be easily seen because they reject sound Biblical doctrine and they love the same sins and evil that the devil does.

3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine;
but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers,
having itching ears;
4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall
be turned unto fables.
Here are some characteristics that mark the tare for all to see and identify.
OCCULTISM
The occult has many forms. Lately Satan has prospered it with his witchcraft training manuals of Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings. The world of the lost have embraced this witchcraft and so have the tares. The tares love the occult and think it is harmless entertainment. A tare will even get angry at someone who warns about the evils of occult entertainment.
Sadly in these last days I have seen many tares show themselves to be tares by their love of the occult. These people love Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, etc. If the tares are parents, they will encourage their children to enjoy the occult as well. I have seen people who attend church and call themselves Christians, enjoy and defend the occult. I've also seen tares who claim to be Christian get involved in Eastern religious occultic medical practices. I've seen people involved in acupuncture and reflexology. A tare can be seen because when warned of the danger of what they are doing and how it is an offense and abomination to God, the tare will reject the warning. I've seen some tares reject politely and I've seen other tares reject the warning in anger. The end result is still the same. The tare has no love or heart for the Lord Jesus or sound Biblical doctrine. Instead they cling stubbornly to their love of occultic sin and their mind will not change.
ROCK MUSIC
Tares love rock and roll music. They want this demonic music in their Church and have had great success in this area. Many professing Christian churches have given themselves over to the devil by replacing Bible study and obedience to the Lord with rock and roll concerts and related activities. Rock music is more addictive than drugs. The wheat (true believers) on the other hand know rock music has no place in church or in the life of a saved person. Just by looking at rock music the tares can be easily separated from the wheat.
I have seen many tares addicted to their demonic music over the years. When warned they tend to react with either anger or mockery. Satan must feel very deeply about his demonic music. His followers can react severely when this demonic music is exposed for what it really is! Always remember that rock music always produces satanic fruit. The first and largest fruit is rebellion. After rebellion there is immorality, drug use, blasphemy, rejection of authority, death, and perversion.
Over the years I have seen many tares go further from God in their obsession with rock music and other sins. Today the tares can be easily seen by their love and obsession with Satan's rock music and their hard heart that clings to this evil.
IMMORALITY
The world is filled with sexual immorality. The tare also loves sexual immorality. Tares can be identified by their moral lives. I have seen many married tares commit adultery. Others have dumped their wives for a newer model. Other tares have been married multiple times. I know of one who has been married five times. I wonder who Mr. NumberSix will be? Other tares date while married. This seems to be a growing trend. A marriage is in trouble so the tare cannot wait. He/she immediately goes out and gets into another relationship. Of course many times this results in "moving in together" so they can get married when the divorce papers come through. Of course one night stands and moving in together are common among the tares. The world has accepted all forms of immorality as normal behavior and the tares are quick to follow the same path.
Over the years I have heard of rape, living together, adultery and other forms of immorality by tares in the Church world. I still remember a Sunday school teacher who turned out to be a quite the tare. He was seeing other women all the time! This tare had the reputation of teaching an in-depth Bible study type of Sunday school class! I also recall two choir members who were dating. However, one of them was married and his wife was fighting the divorce. This person wanted the divorce so bad so he could marry his girlfriend. I remember seeing a leader (board of managers) in a church with his arm around another woman in a public place. Not long after that he left his wife of 20+ years and disappeared from the church scene. These are just a few examples of how in these last days, the tares are showing that they belong to their father, the devil.
Just by looking at a person's moral life, a tare can be quickly spotted.
DOCTRINAL APOSTASY
Tares reject the foundations of the Christian faith. They do not believe the Bible is the revealed Word of God. Foundational doctrines like the Trinity and salvation by faith apart from works are denied by tares. In fact, tares do not like doctrine and feel doctrine separates and is divisive. Tares do not like people who stand up for solid Bible doctrine. Fundamental Bible believers are an offense to the tare who considers them: legalistic, narrow-minded, unloving, and intolerant.
I've noticed that tares have a great tendency toward lies and apostasy. They will believe falsehood and heresy very easily. On the other hand the tare rejects and resists sound Biblical doctrine. This characteristic applies to the whole lost world as well. People naturally tend to believe lies much easier than they believe in the truth.
Since tares have embrace apostasy they have a high tolerance for cultists and false teachers. Many tares become followers of popular wolf evangelists. Of course the tare reacts with anger when warned about the false teaching of their wolf evangelist. There are many wolf evangelists on TV that have very evil fruit. These wolves seek money, power, and personal glory. They beg for cash in tears so their latest project can be built. The ones who succeed always go out and built huge and expensive houses for themselves. They teach the prosperity Gospel and these tares are the first to follow that teaching as they fleece people of their money. When you see a pastor or evangelist just look at their lifestyle (as well as their doctrine). If they have made themselves rich and live like a mini-king then beware of that person! Their god is their belly and they are serving themselves and not the Lord!
Other tares can be seen in their efforts to unite all religions. The promise keepers have made major inroads in uniting false religions. Tares join this movement as they can easily see Catholics and Mormons as their brothers in Christ. Since tares reject sound Biblical doctrine they are wide open to considering followers of other false religions as brothers in Christ. The sad thing is the Jesus they are following is NOT the Jesus of the Bible!
I remember one tare I used to know. This person I thought he was a solid Bible believer. He works for a ministry that brought on a catholic to its leadership staff. We warned this person about the liberal ministry he worked for and he even had a discussion with the catholic at his work. The end result was this tare decided to ignore the Romanist and keep working at this liberal ministry. Over time the ministry became much more liberal and a big pusher of rock music and other forms heresy. This tare allowed his heart to grow harder as he went deeper into doctrinal apostasy. Today the tare is well down his self-deceived pathway to hell. I know of another situation where a Trinity denying false teacher was going to speak at a church that was considered Christian. I know someone who went to that church so I sent off a note. That person in turn warned the pastoral staff of the church. After that nothing happened. The liberals in charge of the church allowed the Trinity denying false teacher to come in to speak to the congregation. Today the Trinity denier has become part of a fairly new cult that is actively recruiting. Part of the support in the early days for this wolf came from liberal churches that allowed the Trinity denying cultist to share their pulpit.
A good way to spot a tare is in their rejection of sound Biblical doctrine. The tare really has no heart for being faithful to the Lord, His Word, or the solid Biblical doctrines of the faith. Instead, the tare is more concerned about his own belly, his financial situation, or social status.

1 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times
some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing
spirits, and doctrines of devils;
2 Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared
with a hot iron;
THE WHEAT
What about the wheat. As I look around I still see people faithfully walking with the Lord. These are people who were walking with the Lord 10-20 years ago. Today they are still walking with the Lord. The wheat are people who year after year are growing in the Lord. The wheat are not perfect people and they still fight sin and failure in their lives. Yet through it all, they truly love the Lord and seek to be a good steward in their walk with the Lord.
The wheat go through good times and bad times. Through it all they seek to walk with the Lord and to please Him in their life. I've seen wheat get involved in some evil things out of ignorance. For example, some of the toys have evil things like magic powers or spells. When the wheat is warned or learns something is evil before the Lord, they do not react with anger or mockery (like the tare would). Instead the wheat seeks to please the Lord with their life and they heed the warning and remove the evil thing. Saved people have a teachable heart and they love and seek to please the Lord. The wheat were faithful 10-20 years ago and if they live another 10-20 years, they will still be faithful to the Lord Jesus!
THE PARABLE OF THE WHEAT AND THE TARES
By looking at the parable of the wheat and tares we can gain real insight today showing the difference between truly saved people and the false Christian tare. Remember the tare is not a Christian but likes to look like one, sound like one, claims to be a Christian, and even attends a Christian church. However the tare is a lost, self-deceived, hell bound sinner.
The wheat is the good fruit bearing seed. On the other hand, the tare was a very common weed in the times of the Lord Jesus. The tare is a toxic plant and it sickens the person who eats it. This weed also camouflaged itself as wheat in the early growing stages. Later in the growing season the tare can be easily distinguished from the wheat. Near harvest the wheat grows much taller than the tare. The tare turns a grey color and is much shorter than the wheat. By the time of harvest the roots of the tare tangled with the roots of the wheat. This is why the tare was not pulled up until after the harvest. Those working in the harvest would harvest and then separate the wheat and the tares for burning.
The main point to keep in mind is that the tare in its early stages is hard to tell apart from the wheat. However, near the end of the growing season, at harvest, the tare can be easily distinguished. The point this tract is making is that we are living in the days where the tares are showing their true colors. It is near harvest and it is very easy to see the difference between the wheat and the tares. Just look and the false professing Christian tare can be easily seen in these last days. Here is the account of the parable of the wheat and tares:
Matt 13
24 Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven
is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field:
25 But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat,
and went his way.
26 But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then
appeared the tares also.
27 So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir,
didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares?
28 He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto
him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up?
29 But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also
the wheat with them.
30 Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest
I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind
them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.
Above we can see the tares and the wheat. The Lord will let both grow together until the harvest. One day the tares will be gathered up and burned. This means they will ultimately perish in the lake of fire.
Here is the explanation of the wheat and the tares from the Lord Jesus:
Matt 13
36 Then Jesus sent the multitude away, and went into the house: and his
disciples came unto him, saying, Declare unto us the parable of the
tares of the field.
37 He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is
the Son of man;
38 The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the
kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one;
39 The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of
the world; and the reapers are the angels.
40 As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so
shall it be in the end of this world.
41 The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather
out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity;
42 And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing
and gnashing of teeth.
43 Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of
their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.
One day the tares will perish forever before the Lord. Right now the tares are very busy in the Christian church. They see to gather many followers as they mislead and pervert the Gospel and the Word of God. Since we are now nearing the end of the age the tares are very easy to tell apart from the wheat. The wheat and the tare have grown to maturity and the world is ready for the great harvest. All the tares are heading for eternal torment in the lake of fire!
CONCLUSION
Just look around as today the tares are easy to see! We are living in the days where anyone who can fall away from the Lord, is falling away. In days past, 10-30 years ago, the tares were very hard to see. The odd one could be spotted but as a rule the tares mixed very well with the wheat. Today in 2003, we are very close to the Lord's return to rapture home His people. Satan is close to setting up the kingdom of the antichrist. The harvest is near and the wheat (God's people) are staying committed to the Lord. The tares (Satan's people playing 'Christian') are taking on the nature of their lord, the devil. Tares love the same things that Satan loves. They are the first to promote heresy, liberalism, immorality, occultism, and rock and roll as acceptable under the guise of "freedom in Christ". What has happened in these end days, is there is now a definite separation between the wheat and the tares.
Bibles in bedside tables may become contraband at hospitals under a proposal from the Calgary Health Region.
If the policy is approved, the Gideons International Bible, a bedside staple, will be removed from all hospital rooms in the city and all distribution and display of any printed religious materials in hospitals will be banned.
The policy, which is still under review and likely won't be decided for at least two months, has drawn both acceptance and criticism from religious leaders in Calgary.
For the CHR's part, an official says the policy is the best way to avoid any religious discrimination or even the appearance that the organization favours one religious group over another.
"There's no interest in restricting access. It's just that we want it to be non-discriminatory," said Toni MacDonald, the CHR's director of spiritual care. "There's not enough room in the drawers for all of the materials."
"The secularists are taking over," countered Anglican minister Robert Greene, assistant priest at St. John the Evangelist in Inglewood. "This is just one more step in the secularization of society -- to get rid of anything of spiritual content."
If passed in its present form, the policy calls for the removal of the Gideon Bible from patients' bedside tables.
It would also ban the posting and distribution of any printed spiritual or religious material, including the Bible, the Qur'an, the Book of Mormon and any other religious tomes.
"We thought we needed to do a more careful review of what our current
practice is to ensure we are being considerate of all religious faiths,"
said MacDonald. ...continued...

Canada is actively thumbing their nose at God and seeking Divine
judgment sooner rather than later! The goal to remove the Bible
and Christianity from hospitals in Canada is not a good one. The
reason Canada does this is their obsession with being "tolerant"
to other religions. The Bible is very narrow with the Lord Jesus
being the ONLY Saviour. This is an unpleasant thought for the lost
who reject the Lord Jesus. As time passes, false religions and the
occult will continue to have access in hospitals but the Bible and
Christianity will be banned.
This has already happened in the school system. God and the Bible are banned and forbidden. However, the occult is widely accepted and promoted. For example, Harry Potter is required reading for students in most public schools. The kids can read about witchcraft and all forms of the occult but the Bible is forbidden. There is a trend here. Those given to a spirit of tolerance really are not tolerant at all when it comes to the Bible!
