I thought I would give an overview of world conditions in these days before the rapture. Prophetic events are moving very quickly and soon the Lord will return to rapture home His people.
Do you remember the tsunami last December? Many people died quick and horrible deaths. However, no animals were lost. They used their God-given senses and had the foreknowledge to get to higher ground before the devastation. Christians walking with the Lord are like that. The Lord Jesus is coming back very soon and only the Christians can see it. Many warnings of the soon return of the Lord Jesus have been issued but not many listen. Lost people have no idea that the mighty judgments of God are about to occur on planet earth. In these last days the Christians will continue to warn right up to the rapture of the Church. After that the prophetic spotlight turns back on Israel and lost people will continue to be warned.
1 Thes 5
4 But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should
overtake you as a thief.
5 Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day:
we are not of the night, nor of darkness.
6 Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch
and be sober.
Flu
There have been many warnings about the killer flu that is about to scourge planet earth. Millions will die as there will be nothing modern medicine can do to stop this plague. Remember that during the 7 year reign of the antichrist there will be many plagues unleashed on planet earth. I have also heard rumors that the bird flu is out of control in China. People are being quarantined and even killed as the Chinese attempt to stop this plague. Could these threats of the coming flu be coming shadows of the 7 year tribulation period? I would say so!
West Nile
Don't forget about the threat of the West Nile virus. I heard recently that 41 percent of the mosquitoes in Louisiana are infected with the West Nile virus. This plague has pretty well covered North America. Personally, I feel this disease is man-made but that is another subject. As people get bitten a very small number will get sick and some will die from the West Nile virus. Others will get flu like symptoms and never know that they were infected with the West Nile virus.
Israel
What is happening in Israel as they are still the key to prophetic events. It is interesting to note that all those who reject Israel's place in prophecy also have no ability to understand Bible prophecy. These people deny the "ETERNAL, EVERLASTING" promises that God gave to Abraham. These promises also included land which is slowly being fulfilled in the nation of Israel. But when men deny the promises of God and think Israel has been replaced, they come up with all kinds of foolish prophetic systems. Some of these would include preterism, ammillenialism, post-tribulation rapture etc. Since Israel is the key, those who forsake that key get greatly confused and misled in Bible prophecy.
Keep your eyes on Israel. Sharon will be doing the disengagement soon with the goal of separating the Jewish and Palestinian populations. Israel is aware that there can never be any peace with the Palestinians who are totally committed to the destruction of Israel. Therefore we are seeing the outworking of a plan to completely wipe them out. Once the populations are separated, just wait until the next war. Once attacked Israel plans to completely wipe these people out. After this occurs there will be no need for the great lengths of fences being built to keep out the suicide bombers.
I also believe when world war 3 breaks out, it will start with a war between Israel and the Islamics. The Muslims seek the destruction of Israel and they will "try again" in their godless quest. After that watch North Korea. They will attack and nuclear bombs will be used. Also watch China as they invade Taiwan. China has already threatened North America with a nuclear attack if they dare to intervene. There is also a danger that India and Pakistan will go at it in war. This could also be nuclear.
When will this war break out? Watch the key, Israel. Right now they have not separated their population from the Palestinians. I would think the big war will not occur until after the separation is complete.
Temple
One result of Israel destroying the enemy within (Palestinians), will be the ability to freely setup the Jewish temple and restore temple sacrifice. This temple will be the temple of the antichrist. One day in the middle of his 7 year reign, the antichrist will enter this temple and claim to be God. He will demand all men to worship him and to receive the mark of the beast. All who bow the knee and receive the mark of the beast will be destroyed in hell forever. There will be no salvation to all those who receive the mark of the beast and worship the devil.
Rev 14
9 And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice,
If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his
mark in his forehead, or in his hand,
10 The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God,
which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his
indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone
in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of
the Lamb:
11 And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever
and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship
the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark
of his name.
New world order
Psalms 2
1 Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain
thing?
2 The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers
take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his
anointed, saying,
3 Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their
cords from us.
4 He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord
shall have them in derision.
The New World Order or Kingdom of the antichrist will not happen overnight. Instead Satan and his followers will be active and busy setting up this kingdom long before it actually arrives. Doesn't that make sense? I think so. Just look around as his people are already setting up the kingdom of the antichrist!
This is why Satan is mightily using rock music (even in the Churches!), the occult (Harry Potterism), sodomy, immorality, and the passing of hate laws. People are being transformed by sin that is popularized to grow closer to Satan and to accept his ways. This is very important when the antichrist comes to power. He will expect sin loving lost people to worship him. One day they will do just that as they accept the mark of the beast.
Every nation is being prepared to accept the coming kingdom of the Antichrist. Here is the major tool that is currently being used. It is called terrorism.
Terrorism and it's main purpose
Terrorism has a purpose. The goal is to remove freedoms and create dictatorships so the antichrist will one day be able to easily take over. Look what happens with each terrorist attack. Oppressive laws get passed and people lose their freedoms. Bush in the USA has turned that place into a police state. The patriot acts give the government powers that Hitler and Stalin only dreamed about. There is forced mental screening of children and national ID cards coming so everyone can be tracked. Like I said, Hitler would be very happy with those oppressive laws.
So watch each terrorist blast in whatever country. Watch as laws get passed giving the government the power of a dictator. That is the ultimate goal. The governments of the world will quickly fall in line and be absorbed into the kingdom of the antichrist after the rapture of the Church. Of course as the power of the government increases, the rights of the individual disappears. Citizens become nothing and human life loses its value as the government get dictatorship powers. Truly the kingdom of the antichrist is coming and world leaders are seeking the power of a dictator. Terrorism will be a major tool in passing many evil and oppressive laws in the days ahead.
DU
Depleted Uranium is deadly and it kill all who come in contact with it. There are many disinformation agents out there who make the claim that DU is harmless. However the facts say otherwise. Just do a google search on DU and you will find all kinds of information, evidence, and even pictures of deformed children. Iraq has been destroyed with nuclear weapons. The amount of DU shot inside Iraq is equalivent to several hundreds of thousands of nuclear bombs like the ones that were used in Japan at the end of WW2. By 2008 it will be impossible to cover up the deaths by DU. There will be just be too many. This means all soldiers and all the people of Iraq are destined to die. Within 20 years, Iraq will be a nuclear wasteland. It will be uninhabitable.
Occult
I can understand people who reject the Lord Jesus enjoying and loving the occult. These people have rejected God, salvation, Jesus, and the Bible. Of course such people will accept the occult.
This leads to the tough question: Why do Christians read potter? Many people who claim to belong to the Lord Jesus are getting involved in Satan's occult via Harry Potter. Why would a professing Christian do such a thing and commit this abomination to the Lord? These people also are totally resistant to any Bible verses showing that the occult is an evil abomination before the Lord.
I think the answer is simple. People who reject warnings of the occult and who refuse correction, are not Christians. Their love of the occult and their refusal to be corrected by the Word of God proves they do not belong to the Lord Jesus.
Rom 2
8 But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the
truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath,
9 Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that
doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile;
Mockers
There is no shortage of mockers, rude, and insulting people in these last days. These are people who love the same things Satan loves. They embrace evil things and cannot be corrected. These people have no heart for the Bible or Biblical correction. These mockers also dare to call themselves "Christian" when they are not. Harry Potter or rock music is sacred to these mockers. If they are corrected, here is a very common pattern that these false tares follow:
1) First they try to make the statement that they are a Christian. Somehow they feel this will establish credibility for the following foolish statements which will be made.
2) Next they attack using the don't judge lie from Satan. One way Satan and his followers justify evil is by making loud don't judge statements. Little do these mockers know but God commands His people to judge and to discern between good and evil.
There is one interesting point I have to make. Everyone who condemns another for being judgmental is also being judgmental themselves. However most who do this are too stupid to realize their folly. They continue to justify their love of sin and rebellion by attacking those who stand in obedience to the Lord Jesus. It is interesting to watch someone who cries out "Don't judge" go around passing judgment on God's people who warn of their evil and abominations.
These are the last days and mockers are everywhere. Sadly, many of them also attend church. These people do their part to lead the church assembly far away from obedience to the Lord Jesus. They have succeeded in many church assemblies. Satan's goal is to take a solid Bible believing church and make it liberal and apostate. Perhaps this has already happened in your Church? Does your church do the heretical purpose driven church lies? How about rock music or love of the occult? The ecumenical alpha course is another evil before the Lord that many apostate churches have adopted. Many churches have shown their alignment to Satan as they reject sound Biblical doctrine and obedience to the Lord Jesus.
CONCLUSION
Everything is ready and the Lord Jesus is coming soon. He will first come to rapture home His Church. After the rapture God's restraint on Satan will be removed. The antichrist will be free to come to power to rule the earth for 7 terrible years. Right now Satan's people are busy doing all they can do to setup the kingdom of the antichrist. These lost people know their evil kingdom is coming soon. What they do not know is the wrath and judgment of God will devastate planet earth. The days on earth will be so terrible that unless the Lord Jesus comes when He does at the end of the 7 year reign of the antichrist, all life on earth would be lost.
Matt 24
21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not
since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor
ever shall be.
22 And except those days should be shortened, there should
no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall
be shortened.
The good news is that the Lord Jesus will return and setup His 1000 year kingdom of righteousness on earth. This kingdom is only for the saved. All lost people will be destroyed and will have no part in God's kingdom. God will literally destroy the wicked from off the face of the earth.
2 Thess 1
7 And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord
Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels,
8 In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not
God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:
Those days are quickly approaching! I certainly hope you have accepted the Lord Jesus as your Lord and Saviour! Do it today as tomorrow may be too late for you! One day you will receive your last call to be saved if you have been constantly rejecting the Lord Jesus. Take action NOW and invite the Lord Jesus into your life to be your Lord and Saviour!
