Today many people are busy shaking their heads about the way the world is going "these days". Things are just getting worse! People have lost their morals, there is an increase in violence, and many use deceit in any way possible to get rich.
Laws are changing. What used to be a criminal offense is now legal. I'm talking about the sin of sodomy. The sodomite lifestyle is being pushed by the rockers, the occultists, TV, movies, and many other media. Pride parades happen in many cities each year with the full attendance of the mayor and other self-important vote seeking people.
Other changes are occurring rapidly. There was once a time when the majority of people stayed far away from the occult with all its witches, wizards, spells, and demons. Today people are loving the occult as they read Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings. People are being drawn into Satan's evil world of the occult and demons and they are loving it!
Even many professing Christian churches are getting on the bandwagon as they remove the Gospel and replace it with worldly entertainment, shallow sermons that never mention sin or hell. Rock music and the occult world of Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings has invaded the world of the lost and the professing Christian. Many professing Christians are getting involved with the occult and they are loving it!
So, why do we have such a downfall in society at a worldwide level?
Here is your answer: It is all a judgment of God! The judgment of God has already started. The first phase is to give people over to their sin so they can no longer discern between good and evil. Such people have reprobate minds and they fall in love with Satan's darkness with all their heart. These people refused Biblical correction so now they have been given over to their sin as a judgment. Read all the below verses and you will see how God is giving the lost rebellious sinner over to their sin:
Rom 1
21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God,
neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and
their foolish heart was darkened.
22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,
23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made
like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and
creeping things.
24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the
lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between
themselves:
25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and
served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for
ever. Amen.
26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even
their women did change the natural use into that which is against
nature:
27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman,
burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that
which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of
their error which was meet.
28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge,
God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which
are not convenient;
29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness,
covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit,
malignity; whisperers,
30 Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors
of evil things, disobedient to parents,
31 Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural
affection, implacable, unmerciful:
32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such
things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure
in them that do them.
GIVEN OVER TO SIN AND A REPROBATE MIND = THE JUDGMENT OF GOD!
This is why society supports sodomy - They have been given over to sin and a reprobate mind. Laws have been passed and what was once a criminal offence is now legal and politically protected.
This is why sodomites proudly display their perversion for all to see! God has given them over to sin.
This is why couples live together in sin without marriage and see nothing wrong with it. God has given them over to sin.
This is why people have fallen in love with the occult via Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings etc. God has given such people over to their sin. Don't forget that the occult is an abomination to God!
This is why rock and rollers come into professing Christian churches and play their filthy Satanic music. These churches and the rock and rollers have been given over to their sin.
It is all a judgment of God as lost people have been given over to their sin. This means God has tried to reach these people with the Gospel but they have rejected Him over and over again. Lost people made their choice and they have chosen the pleasures offered by Satan. As a result God gave them over to their sin as a judgment!
WHAT WILL HAPPEN NEXT?
We are living in the time of the end of the age. The Lord Jesus is coming back soon to rapture home His Church. This is also the time when God will judge the earth. All the judgments found in the book of Revelation will be poured out on planet earth.
We are living in days when many people who have rejected the Lord Jesus have been given over to their sin. The next phase will be the actual judgments of God.
The people who have rejected the Lord Jesus and salvation will soon face the mighty judgments of a Holy God. Today they laugh in glee while wallowing in their sin enjoying their reprobate mind. The day is coming when they will scream and howl under the judgments of the Lord.
There is one terrible purpose of the Lord giving people over to their sin. Here is what the Bible says:
2 Thess 2
9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all
power and signs and lying wonders,
10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that
perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that
they might be saved.
11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that
they should believe a lie:
12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but
had pleasure in unrighteousness.
It is a terrible judgment of God to be given over to sin. After the antichrist rises to power the Lord will send a great delusion to further deceive lost people who have rejected the Lord Jesus. The purpose of this delusion is to blind these people right up to the point in time when they perish forever in hell, the lake of fire. Being given over to sin is a terrible judgment of God. It blinds a person right up until the time the perish forever in hell!
CONCLUSION
If you love the Lord and are able to discern between good and evil then rejoice! Others are deceived over sodomy, immorality, rock music, false teachings, or the occult. They have no heart for correction and have fallen in love with their sins of darkness. Their blindness has become a judgment of God which will at a later time manifest itself in physical judgment.
Why do these blind people reject Biblical correction? The answer is simple. They have been blinded and God has allowed it. They have been judged by God so their blindness remains.
2 Cor 4
3 But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:
4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of
them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious
gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine
unto them.
If you love the Lord and need to repent of your love of darkness then do so right now! For others, you will stay blinded until you are destroyed and thrown into hell!
